Well, now Merrill Hoge will be correct this year. The Eagles won't make the playoffs.

Yeah I never really thought much of that "curse". Especially since Ray Lewis. The Eagles already broke one curse. The one with Campells Soup. The commercial injured Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner, The Bus, and than Mcnabb. Last season the entire Eagles team did one and well we made it to the Super Bowl.

And played horribly sloppy. I was really upset by McNabb performance. I do beleive he was sick but McNabb is the kind of player that wont make excuses for a loss. When it even isn't his fault he will take that blame.

What about Freddie? I thought he had something for Harrison and the corners whose numbers or names he didn't know.

Hey Freddie, you can play good at times but see you later. Hello Greg Lewis, fastest player on the team.

Didn't he recently call out McNabb and Reid or something. And Lewis should be good. I think he'd be a better slot receiver though.

If Freddie was as good as TO than it would be different but he is nowhere near. Greg Lewis is great. Just think of how good he can get since he can learn off of TO. I mean look at Randy Moss. I think Cris Carter helped him. Also look at TO. Jerry Rice turned him from a 6th round pick to a great wideout.

Well Randy Moss was already incredibly talented and a first round pick, although Carter did help him. He would have gone much higher than 22 (pretty sure) if he didn't have the character issues.

Yeah Moss did have a lot of talent. But Greg Lewis was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent. I think that it would be crazy if he can suceed. Also I just think back to when McNabb got injured against the Cardinals a few years back(Came back in the game, threw four touchdown all on a broken ankle) and Koy Detmer came in a played pretty good. Although he went out and got injured I think that the can fit into the offense pretty good. I also think that if he does good enough we can trade him for a teams second rounder and give the Eagles a great second round pick.

Scouting is why the Patriots and Eagles are on top of their respective conferences. Just going to list a couple Pats:
Givens: 7th round pick, really developing Vrabel: Pittsburgh castoff
There are many more that have significant impacts as well. Oh yeah, I think their quarterback was selected in the 6th round.

I read an article in ESPN The Magazine about this. Two college professors got together and analyzed the picks. The later round picks are supposedly having more sucess than than the later round picks. Also the 43 pick over the last few years has produced many stars, Juluis Jones and Mushin Muhammed. I agree with you Cerrano, Andy Reid and Bill Bellichik* are great coach/GM's. They somehow find a way to get there teams deep into the playoffs every single year.

Yeah I forgot about that one. He is a good back but the shit he said with the Bengals was wrong.

I cannot agree. While he was there he did nothing but produce yards when the entire defense knew he was getting the ball. And until the last couple years, they did not show a committment to winning or even trying. A player only has a certain amount of time to play, and many, including Dillon, do no want to spend it on a losing team.
