Unfortunately, people freak over stupid things. If this were me, I wouldn't necessarily agree with the suspension, but I'd take it like a man and serve it instead of being a little girl about it and using proxies to get around it.

Cussing is a way for people with small vocabularies to express themselves. They can't find a better word than *** or **** (insert any cuss you want). Do I swear? Sure. But I don't think I've ever needed to come to using one online. Try looking at a thesaurus or something.

Since Stephen has implemented the rule, the argument of "well if we hear it on TV, we should be able to say it on DC" has never, ever worked and it never, ever will. I really don't think it's about keeping virgin eyes clean as much as it's about maintaining at least a small sense of professionalism around here. If a sportswriter were to write a column with a few cuss words in it, they'd either get suspended or fired. While it's true that DC is for fun, Stephen needed to do something to keep us punk teenagers in line. I think half the problem is that there's so many raging testosterone-inflated egos around here that a lot of people either can't accept when they're wrong, won't drop stupid arguments, always have to have the last word, or can't detect the slightest amount of sarcasm. I think overall people need to lighten up...having trite arguments every day definitely isn't going to help the whole "lift the censorship" crusade, is it?

dude just shut up its a friggin message board. If this is all you have to do then get a life. Just respect the mods there just doing what they told and das to suspend users for cursing or people dissin each other.
Sometimes I dont agree with it either but I dont make a post with a huge analysis on it.

Didn't have a chance to post a follow-up because that last account was banned ... anyways, I thought about it and yeah, the mods are right.
So I apologize to DC for stirring up so much drama.
