Bill Simmons brought up a very good point. Knowing if the Texans win Sunday, the Saints'll probably get the #1 pick. And knowing that franchise right now, I wouldn't want to go.
So Simmons suggested this.
"Bush should: Sneak into the Niners' locker room before Sunday's game, pull a Lt. Frank Drebin and knock Frank Gore unconscious, then tie Gore up in the trainer's room, put on Gore's helmet and uniform and subsequently rush for about 300 yards against the Texans. The best part would be the stunned look on Dom Capers' face as Bush/Gore kept breaking 40-yard runs. Oh, wait, Capers always looks like that. But this would be cool. You have to admit."
I would die laughing watching this happen (if it did happen).
Any thoughts on this? People's fantasy seasons next year depend on it!

If that's the case, I'm starting Frank Gore this week.

Honestly, Frank Gore is about the best name for a running back.
Unless his name was Super Gore, that would own.

Bill Simmons is one of my favorite columnists...pure genius. I liked the idea of hanging Reggie Bush 30 feet above the feet like it's a WWE Ladder Match - first team to climb the ladder successfully and climb down with Reggie gets him. Throw in some steel chairs and scantily clad women and it'd be the most watched game in league history.

Seeing that David Carr might accidentally win the game, the Texans bench him in favor of Tony "Momentum Killer" Banks, who ends up throwing an INT for a TD in the third quarter and the INT in overtime that set up the game winning field goal.
The Official Top Five Picks: 1. Houston 2. New Orleans 3. Tennessee 4. New York Jets 5. Green Bay

Well, Leinhart looks as if he'll go to the Saints (unless the Saints are dumb and take somebody else), and I'll say DeAngelo could go anywhere, but I'd say NYJ will take him. Tennessee will be more interested in a QB (McNeal, Jacobs maybe?). Packers could take A.J. Hawk and have a mean linebacking corps (Barnett, Diggs, Hawk, ouch).
As for my Lions, I'd like them to pick up Hawk, but Greenway or Jimmy Williams will do.

Deangelo Williams is gonna be a great back, he's been overshadowed, but he is a beast at memphis.

I was half expecting the Texans to defer if they won the OT coin toss.

The Texans should have deferred to; "Play the wind.." One of the classiest and most memorable moments in the Mornhinweg days of the Lions...

Tennessee will be more interested in a QB (McNeal, Jacobs maybe?) Jacobs, yes, but McNeal really slipped on some draft boards.
