Bush will be good for five years before he becomes a liability, the Jets needed a QB.

Berman: "Green Bay on the clock, now heres the deal; you have Brett Favre, maybe, and Aaron Rodgers, Ahman Green, yes, but injury prone and aging. With so many defensive needs and great playes on that side of the ball, I'm sure they'll take their time and don't be surprised if you see this pick traded, am I right here Mort?"
Mortenson: "That's right Chris, my sources are saying the many teams have been in contact with Packers organization after the Cutler pick. Those teams include: Arizona, San Francisco, Balitmore, and Denver. Shoudl be an interesting couple of hours here..."
Berman: "Yes it should be, just over 9 hours to go, we wil see what happens but first lets take a quick break..."

Trying to steal my fire eh? Anyways, just checking in here because I'm basically dead with a fever and strep throat. Hopefully everything keeps running smoothly. I'll try and get on tonight to see where we're at. Oh, and Ahman Green's a FA. Another reason I'm the better Chris Berman around here.

With all the cap space GB has, Green's a lock to come back, and he's said lately that he'd be willing to take a pay cut to prove to the Packers he can still play after getting injured. Aaron Kampman will also be resigned, but he knows his role is as a run stopper, meaning he'll enter the game on running situations in place of Mario Williams. Book it.

Super Mario to Green Bay puts San Francisco on the clock with Reggie Bush still on the board. Is his run down the boad finally stopped at 6?

Chris Berman:
"This just in ... the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and an unnamed team are discussing a massive three-way deal. Who's involved? We're not certain, but if completed, this could mean a major power shift in the AFC."

The Buffalo Bills deny the claim that they are involved in a "massive 3-way deal" and find it offensive that Chris Berman would report such news.

Chris Berman:
"Here via phone is Andy Reid. Andy, are you and the Bills talking trade?"
Andy Reid:
"Yes, that is correct."

Well, entering the draft, the 49ers most pressing concerns were (not my opinion, the San Franscisco Chronicle's opinion) acquiring a top notch WR, and filling up defensive holes. HOWEVER, there wasn't the thought of the possiblity of adding a great RB in Reggie Bush. The 49ers have the 6th pick in the NFL Draft, and with that, reunite former high school teammates with the selection of Reggie Bush running back out of USC.

I'M BERMAN, DAMNIT! Anyways...the REAL BERMAN says: "Well...Green Bay passes on Reggie Bush, and I'm sure plenty are stunned. BUT...San Francisco has said they'll trade if Bush is off the board...he's not....so it's fair to assume Reggie Bush will be joining high school teammate Alex Smith on the 49ers. Stunning stuff. DB says: The Lions are no longer looking to move up. EDIT: Berman: The slide is complete! Reggie Bush is a 49er! Now we await cooljayhu and the Oakland Raiders.

If you're the real Berman, then dig into this PHI/BUF trade crap.

Chris Berman: "Here via phone is Andy Reid. Andy, are you and the Bills talking trade?" Andy Reid: "Yes, that is correct." The Buffalo Bills feel they were misquoted, and will take their anger out on Eric Moulds and demand he restructure his contract, even if he pretty much is the face of the team...

ESPN is in the process of contacting and interviewing Andy Reid via satellite. Transcript to come. ANDY REID INTERVIEW Berman: What's all this about a trade with Buffalo? Reid: Well there's a third team. We've contacted them but no response just yet Berman: Ah, I see. Who would you target should you get the 8th pick? Reid: Preferably a DT. Berman: Ah, I see. Well, that's the latest from Eagles camp.

Mel Kiper Jr: Smart move with the DT, one of the top needed positions for the Eagles.

I know, but it addresses a big need for the team, so if they take a DT, it helps.
