Really not a lot of room for discussion here, Urlacher's definitely the best, reigning defensive POY.

Trotter. Look at what he had this year in front of him and around him. Not much. He still made a lot of plays. His blitz against Arizona was amazing. He is a smart football player and will make plays away from the tackle.

Urlacher is the best, no contest.

Why does everyone say no contest here? Yes he is good, but to say there is a no contest at any position in the NFL is crazy. MLB has so many great players.

The fact that Tedy Bruschi isn't on this list is making me abstain.

I'm looking at who I want to play MLB on my team and that's Ray Lewis. I'm sorry, but given the circumstances that the two swapped teams and Lewis' would be even more a monster haha. That's the only thing thats no contest.

Trotter, he is the man who is the only reason Philly doesn't have 200 rushing yards against them every game.

lining up at OLB does not mean he is an OLB.

He lines up at outside during the games This year. McGinest - Vrabel - Bruschi - Colvin Previous years. McGinest - Bruschi - Johnson - Vrabel Bruschi may line up on the outside occasionally, but very rarely; he is too valuable in the middle, as seen in the first half of this season. He did come into the league as a DE/OLB though.

hey Cerrano what do u think about them cutting McGinest? I think with the new CBA and the higher cap they should attempt to pick him back up. What do u think.

Tully Banta-Cain has shown flashes on special teams and in garbage time, but I don't think he's ready for full-time duty. I would love to see what LaVar Arrington would do under Belichick, because I know he'd utilize his talent. Although I don't see that happening. I think McGinest, like a lot of former Pats will end up in Cleveland with Romeo, or perhaps in Dallas with the Tuna. I'm not sure what their next move is, as I don't see him coming back, but, in Bill we trust.

However, they did get Dillon and that has turned out pretty good so far.

However, they did get Dillon and that has turned out pretty good so far. Dillon wasn't so much of a cancer than he was sick of losing. I know the Bengals were getting there as he departed, but he endured so much he just couldn't stay. All he did was constantly produce for years without any help. He did his best, but he couldn't do it himself, and that wore on him. LaVar just wanted to play. I'm not too sure on all the details, but it seemed like he was just in Gibb's doghouse (perhaps for lack of effort). The guy has so much talent I can really see him resurrecting himself somewhere else. If anyone can control him, Belichick would be able to in my opinion. Although, the price is probably wrong, and I don't think he really fits into our system style-wise.
