Tamba Hali should be a really good player in years to come. He is a little undersized, but is still a menace. No doubt it'll take him a year or two to get acclamated to the league, but playing in the Big Ten helps him a lot in terms of expirience. I'm not sure how the Chiefs will use him, but I don't see him as a player who will have 10-15 sacks every year. He'll be the kind of player you don't notice and doesn't record many tackles or sacks because teams won't run to his side. I wish him the best of luck and the Chiefs are my new favorite team as they have Larry Johnson and Tamba Hali!

Some of these picks are very strange, Lions have to trade up and take Winston Justice!

We don't need a guy that will get 10-15 sacks every season, although that would be nice if he did give that kind of production. What I think Hali will excel at is getting to the quarterback and roughing him up a bit. He has 10-sack potential however, but needs to bulk up some. He looks like a ferocious hitter, as well. And there is quite a PSU flavor on the Chiefs, with LJ and now Hali.

LenDale WHite isn't a first- or even second-round draft pick. You could pick him up int he third, I'd bet. I'm incredibly happy to see the Pats take Maroney, cuz I wanted DeAngelo Williams, and he'll most likely fall to the Colts, now.
Santonio Holmes... I wouldn't call it a steal. He's a late first round kinda guy. He's going to be solid, but not great.
edit: CRAP. Oh well. Looks like defense again.

What's wrong with the Bills? Whitner was a bit of a reach, but McCargo was projected second-day by some.
The Chad Jackson freefall goes on.

Is Matt Millen dead or something? Some mocks had Winston Justice to Detroit at 9. He's still here at 28 and Millen doesn't seem to care. Argh!

Kiper says he can understand them taking Whitner at 8 because Huff was already gone and they were worried about a run on safeties, and I kind of agree with that. They could've traded the pick, but there were no gaurantees that Detroit wouldn't take Whitner at 9. McCargo's a 2-round reach, though...Kiper said he had him going in the third round. He's a solid DT, but I don't think he's worth a first round pick. Edit: DB, how much do you want to bet Justice falls to the Packers at 37 and they take him?

I think Seattle would take him before Houston, since they lost Hutchinson. Sure he was a guard and Justice is a tackle, but they need a replacement somewhere.

The Colts took like 20 seconds to make their pick...Joseph Addai...nice pick IMO.

I would say if Justice gets past Seattle, he ends up in Houston.

Like who? Addai is a better receiver out of the backfield than White is, and White really hurt himself in the weeks leading up to the draft.

Buffalo is out of control on their draft picks. They are SERIOUSLY trying to go off of the board with this.
As far as LW, early second round. That hamstring and balooning like Phil Fulmer did him no justice.

well I already knew LenDale was not round one potential- my dad said he would be like a 3rd round pick even.

ok, Justice is still there. Texans get him. Man, the Texans can build up a nice scquad but it would of been only better if they got Reggie
