And then you go and get a nobody. I thought it was already horrible when you give a pick that turns out to be John McCargo (yet another WTF pick for the Bills today) and then you don't get a chance to pick up Leonard Pope.
Wow, these draft gurus that work for these teams are horrible.

Saints pick Roman Harper, Safety out of Alabama.
Pretty good pick for NO. Harper had a good nose for the ball and could really lay a hit on a guy. Only questions I really have is his speed, because he wasn't the quickest safety around.
I may have to pick myself up a Roman jersey though. ;D

Danieal Manning out of Abilene Christian. Come on man, thats a bad pick. I've never heard of this guy. We coulda got an Alan Zematis or a n Ashton Youboty. And seeing he's a safety, we coulda got Darnell Bing or Donnie McCleskey, or even reached and got Ko Simpson. All those choices and we go out and get this guy? wtf man.

Or maybe the "Draft Gurus" who try to pretend to be NFL GM's are terrible.  The draft is a crapshoot...for all we know Reggie Bush won't be in the league 5 years from now. As for Manning, he's this year's small-school DB that made it into the second round. Last year it was Nick Collins for Green Bay and he turned out pretty well...I'm sure Lovie Smith knows what he's doing if he wanted this guy over Zemaitis or Youboty. |

After all of Ted Thompson's trades, the Packers have 5 picks in the next two rounds...not too shabby considering the Packers need depth everywhere. LenDale White or Maurice Stovall would be a good addition in the second round.

White's a good pick up for the Titans...he should go well with Chris Brown.
