Am I the only one that completely loses interest after the first 15 picks or so? Unless for some reason my team or a college player I really like is later in the 1st round, I usually turn it off and just check it online... I usually watch the first two rounds, then go and get out somewhere like Applebees or something and watch it there while eating something. This year I'll probably watch the first day since we're going to the 49ers draft party.

I watch the whole thing because I have no life.
But seriously, it's one of my favorite sporting events of the year.

At least this year the Packers' pick will be in the first hour. I'm used to having to sit through 3 hours of other team's picks to get to that point. After GB picks, I usually start to tune it out a little bit but keep it on in the background.

Mine's done, all 32 picks...but I'm just gonna wait for tomorrow...
Might I add A.J. Hawk is number one on Detroit's draft board. As much as they like Huff, they'd take Hawk in less than a heartbeat if he were on the board at 9.

Sux for me I have a soccer tourney this weekend. My dad's gonna be on the sidelines with a portable TV, though, so he'll keep me updated.... i hope.

Is Mel Kiper even doing the draft on ESPN this year?

Oh yeah. Did you see him today on PTI? It looked like a bomb exploded in his hair. Trust me, he's ready.

I was unsure of it because I have heard a ton of things. I still think I will end up watching the draft on NFL Network. They have all that stuff from the combine and such since they were there, like videos and such.

Is anybody else having a throwdown Saturday, and Sunday. Me and all my friends are getting together and having a draft party. Should be pretty cool, since we have a pretty good variety in team fans.

I saw Ferguson on Quite Frankly last night, and just by the way he talked and carried himself, you could tell he had that 'it' intangible to be one of the all time greats. So I'll be rooting for him for his entire career. Seems like a great guy to cheer for.

so pretty much everyone's draft is now officially screwed as Williams and the Texans have agreed on a deal in principle. and yes I know there is a thread for this.

Ramification time!
Williams goes first, Bush goes second. Brick or Leinart drop down on the draft board, possibly screwing up Hawk, etc. The top 10 just got a lot cloudier.

Chris Mortenson reported 5 teams are trying to trade for the #2 pick, and if the Saints dont like any of the offers, they'll take Bush for sure.
