Saw this earlier and thought about posting it. Yea, I don't think the curse is revealed just yet. I think Shaun will bounce back quick and still have a great season.

I was actually thinking about how well Alexander was doing on Saturday and now *boom* this happens... man, soon no one will be on the cover. They will have to get some Joe-Schmo football player to be on it and MAYBE the curse will be "reversed" and the player will have a GREAT season!

I wonder if the Madden curse thing is just injuries and things of that nature catching up with players. To make the cover, players generally have to have a great season the year before, so it kind of makes sense that the next year something happens.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly, but I think you get the point.

Yea your saying that after that great season, they put a lot of wear and tear on their bodies that they just can't take it anymore. Plus most of these cover guys are vets and they are getting old anyways.

I feel so smart, I had the first overall pick in my fantasy league and the only reason I didn't go Alexander was B/C he was on the cover of Madden. Well that and I thought it would be boring to pick the same guy 2 years in a row.
Hopefully LJ keeps improving.
