Most of NFL quarterback are capable of throwing the ball downfield. I think he could be an ok quarterback. He has the talents and physical aspects. He just makes incredibly stupid decisions. I really think the Bears should switch. This year's NFC is ripe for the taking...

The Bears aren't looking at very capable backups, either. Brian Griese is adequate, but do you trust him in the NFC Championship? Kyle Orton proved last year that he wouldn't last in the playoffs, either.
Call up Jim Miller, maybe?

Easy to forget what he did early this season, not defending him at all for his performace, but bad quarterbacks aren't capabale of what he was doing early on. Hopefullly he has hit rock bottom, and the only way is up from there. Personally I give him the rest of the season, if he cant right the ship, then I'll start asking for Griese untill than, I believe what we saw early this season from Rex is what he is truely capable of. My problem is...how many times must he hit rock bottom? Most people learn after a few mistakes...not Grossman. He committed six turnovers against Arizona Then four more against Miami Another four against New England And finally three against Minnesota this weekend. All total....53/132 (40.2%) - 564 YDS - 1 TD - 13 INT - 4 fumbles lost and a 16.29 QB Rating over those four games.... Yes he was fantastic early...but that doesn't count for jack diddly now as he isn't learning from his mistakes. He just keeps making them. He doesn't like to lose the turnover battle it seems. The defense forced 5 turnovers against the Pats two games back and he gives up four on his own. Brad Johnson threw four picks yesterday...Rex thought Brad was trying to show him up, so he threw three for fun.... It's like he's jealous of the other team's turnovers and so he wants to match them. I'm tired of Grossman and I know that TJ and the defense have to be sick of him as well. The defense gave the game to the offense...they said win it for us and they failed. Point is that he needs to straighten up like now...and stop bomibing every other throw.

Look around all sports sites, they all cover the inconsistant play of Rex Grossman.
I'm still a supporter of Grossman, though another poor game, especially in the next 4 games (Rams, Lions, Tampa, Packers), all not too geat defenses, might sway my confidence in him.
