Well Philly won and now Tiki is headed into retirement and will be a sports announcer (i think). He had a nice career and hopefully he has a nice future doin whatever he does.
Might as well say goodbye to Tom Coughlin as well...

I was kinda hopin Tiki would make it further this year and I kinda like Eli for some reason too. Either way it was a good game.

I like Eli too, that's what makes things worse. I want him to do good so bad not just because he's my quarterback but because I like him. He just has no attitude about everything. He's not a leader and really has no poise at all. We need a "Quarterback's Coach" not some proclaimed disciplinary whose team is one of the worst in the league in penalties and just simply dumb mistakes.

Makes you wonder if Eli is regretting his decision to get out of San Diego.

Tiki is a nice guy, I like him, but I'm already sick of hearing about his retirement. Just let it go, media.
I hoped Eli would succeed, but he just sucks at the moment. I'd say out of the 4 first rounders in his year, he's been the worst. Rivers, Roethlisberger, and even Losman has a slight edge over him.

I know Rivers should thank Eli. I wonder if their stats would be reversed had Rivers played in NY and Eli in SD.

I never wanted Eli to succeed, because he seemed like a cry-baby daddy's-boy to me when that whole draft controversy started...

Eli will always play in the shadow of his brother. He can't match Peyton in any way.

I feel for him because he will become a good quarterback. Right now he is too immature to run an offense. He's to immature to understand reading plays and making smart throws. You want to know whats funny though.
I guarantee that if he were in Chicago, theyd have a Superbowl spot locked up haha. He's leagues better than Grossman lol.

It also doesn't help that his coach has blamed him for losses due to interceptions and jumps on his back instead of helping him when he gets flustered. They need a new coach, some new receivers and a new ego for Eli before anything good happens.

I don't think people give Grossman enough credit.
Yes he is wildy inconsistant, something that will dissapear with experience, but name a Quarterback in Chicago that was any better than Grossman is/will be in the past 12 years.
Everyone looks at the bad, meanwhile the kid lead the league with 7 games with a 100+ QB rating. I don't think bad Quarterbacks can do that.
Just personal opinion.

Rex Grossman could have 90 interceptions and you could say people don't give him enough credit.

I think he also lead the league with games under a 10 QB rating. I don't think good Quarterbacks can do that. And how much experience are we talking about? He had what, three seasons before this to do something, but he got hurt every year. Now he plays a full season, and proves that he's so inconsistent that he's going to make or break the Bears season. Even Brooks Bollinger can manage games better than Grossman can...

Peyton Manning threw 28 interceptions in his first full season.
All I'm saying is, give the kid time.
