Philly probably should have won this game, but they kept stalling out.
Geaux Saints. I'm sure bama's thrilled there at the Superdome right now.

What an anti-climactic ending. I thought this was going to be an exciting game.

Congrats to the Saints. I watched the 2nd half... somehow. Even fantasy football couldnt bring back my excitement for football tonight.

I don't know why, but for some reason I hate the Saints. How can you hate the Saints? Theyre kind of like Wake Forest this year. You cant hate a team like that.

I would hate to see Indianapolis play the Saints in the Superbow. Everyone would root for them and I would feel like a a$$ if Indy won. However, if Indianapolis losses next weeks game... I am all for a Saintly Superbowl

Who Dat? Who Dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat them Saints?!
What a game folks, I have never heard a stadium that loud. It was crazy down in New Orleans all day. Ran into a bunch of Eagles fans on Bourbon Street (which reminds me, Hustler owns like half the buildings on that street). There was a huge concert outside the Dome before the game, so I got to see the Steve Miller Band before I went it. Got to the suite, and yes I sat in a suite for those who don't know. Saw the Colts polish off the Ravens.
Then I ate like half my weight in hot wings before the game. Great, great stuff. Then yelled myself hoarse during the course of the game. On that fourth down that got Philly a false start was sick loud. Never have I heard that kind of noise anywhere, and never have I yelled as loud. Saints win, and we celebrate all the way home!
Oh and on another note, I watched the game with Ray Nagin. Yeah, everyone's favorite mayor was in the suite with me, and his bald head was blocking the chips because he was lounging on the couch at halftime. Mmmm.......hot wings and chips.
Now all I can say is Geaux freaking Seahawks. NFC Championship in the Dome > all.
Who dat!

Holy Crap that was a shot! It was on my side of the field, basically right in front of where I was sitting. When I saw Brees let that pass go, I knew Reggie was going to get hammered. He put way too much air under it, and you could just see the hit coming. He was in pain after that kind of hit.

Andy Reid is a moron for punting. But Bush getting jacked up and that Saints fan made the game alright...

I do agree it was a bad call for Andy Reid to punt. I just feel bad for a guy like Scott Young. I don't even think he played outside of Lincoln Financial Field this season, and to have to fill in for a Pro-Bowl guard, that hurts them.
There was one play that if it went the other way, would have changed this game. That was when Steve Weatherford realized his punt was going to be blocked and ran with it. If the Eagles block that, they get the ball in great position. Outside of that, it was the Eagles defense not being able to stop anything.
Another thing that did not help the Eagles was the lack of a running game. If you take away the 62 yard run where the Saints defense was attacking the left side of the field and the reverse Brian Westbrook had only 11 carries for 36 yards. Correll Buckhalter had negative yards at the end of the game. This team goes nowhere without running the ball. (Under the new playcalling of Marty Morningwheg)
Also, I almost wish I was listening to the FOX announcers to hear how Lito Sheppard was still our best corner even though Sheldon Brown was out there playing his heart out. I love it when there is a pass in the flats that he can line up. I remember a few years ago when he laid our Reggie Swinton just like he did Reggie Bush last night. One of the few bright spots for me last night.
EDIT: Also, that 'F*ck Da Eagles' shirt was amazing. I thought I saw it but just figured I was an idiot and it said something else.

That decision to punt made no sense at all. Whats an extra 5 yards when its already 4th and long? Especially considering the defense hadnt stopped anyone all day, it just baffles me.
Freak, whats the Philly opinion on Omar Gaither? He was an absolute stud for my high school before graduating in 2002, and he seemed to play pretty solid last night.
