Man, it seems more NFL players are getting caught by the law than NBA players.

The reason why more NFL players are getting caught is because Roger Goodell is actually doing something about it. Tagliabue was a great commissioner, but never really knew how to address the issues in player conduct on and off the field, nor did he really care too much.

Vick's done. State and local authorities might fall for a bribe, but the Feds won't.

They said on Sports Reporters this morning that Vicks got one hell of a lawyer. Said even if he did do it, he could get out of it because of this lawyer is that good.

Vick should spend time in jail. If he doesn't, it's going to look very bad on the part of the justice system, seems how they already have a bad reputation with big names never doing time.

That sounds incredibly stupid... obviously if they have a strong enough case for him to go to jail, he should go to jail. But if they don't, then they should still put him in jail???

I'm a bit late to this bit of the topic, but you're still dealing with the Feds. They wouldn't have pressed charges if they didn't think they had a damn good case. On top of that, you don't just bribe your way out of federal court or pull some Johnny Cochran shit and win. This is going to be a tough case for Vick to shake and I think he'll likely see a little jail time.
