Mike Vick deserves a suspension now. Pacman was suspended for the shit he did and he was never found guilty. If Vick isnt found guilty, he deserves to be suspended because he has given not only the Falcons but the NFL a big black eye. His associates can cover his ass all that but Vick cant lie about not knowing the operation was going on when, behind his crib, are buildings, cages, and over 50 dogs in a forested area. Man, it seems more NFL players are getting caught by the law than NBA players. The reason why more NFL players are getting caught is because Roger Goodell is actually doing something about it. Tagliabue was a great commissioner, but never really knew how to address the issues in player conduct on and off the field, nor did he really care too much. Vick's done. State and local authorities might fall for a bribe, but the Feds won't.

I wonder if Marcus had anything to do with the pitbull fighting too. I mean, he's the troubled brother so I dont see how he would have nothing to do with it.

They showed a video of a reporter asking him about the situation on NFL Network and he wouldn't say a thing about it.

Am I the only one who's not nieve enough to believe he'll see a minute in jail?

Nah. It's the feds, not some county prosecution. Can't be sure though.
Either way, no matter how this goes, his reputation is completely ruined already.
(Oh, and has anyone noticed that wherever Joey Harrington goes, something happens to the starting QB and he ends up starting? Something's up.)

They said on Sports Reporters this morning that Vicks got one hell of a lawyer. Said even if he did do it, he could get out of it because of this lawyer is that good.
Vick should spend time in jail. If he doesn't, it's going to look very bad on the part of the justice system, seems how they already have a bad reputation with big names never doing time.

That sounds incredibly stupid... obviously if they have a strong enough case for him to go to jail, he should go to jail. But if they don't, then they should still put him in jail??? And yes, Joey Harrington is the culprit behind this all. Just 29 more quarterbacks' careers to ruin...

I really didn't know how to word it right. I meant he better do jail time with all the stuff that they do have against him. I think i was just waking up when i wrote it.

I'm a bit late to this bit of the topic, but you're still dealing with the Feds. They wouldn't have pressed charges if they didn't think they had a damn good case. On top of that, you don't just bribe your way out of federal court or pull some Johnny Cochran shit and win. This is going to be a tough case for Vick to shake and I think he'll likely see a little jail time.
