Who was your favorite player in college that was sweet but never made it big in the NFL??
Mine is Jarret Payton.

I loved watching Garrett Wolfe in college but I have a feeling he wont make it very big in the NFL. Also watching guys like Charlie Ward (on yoututbe mostly), Eric Crouch, and Tommie Frazier as well as other run-first QBs is always fun.

Okay we'll talk about him. Maurice was probably one of the all-time greatest high school football players ever in the state of Ohio, and came in with the expectations of an entire state on his shoulders. He was one of the most talented big backs ever to come out of high school, and without him, we would not have been anywhere close to a national championship (Although I should point out that we won a few games without him that season). We really started to see his true character when he talked about how he would try and apply for early entry despite him not even being half-way through his freshman year.
He chose to file a false police report, lie to NCAA investigators, and attempt to tarnish the reputation of Jim Tressel and his coaching staff. Unfortunately for him, he was suspended indefinately for the false police report and lying to NCAA investigators, and his attempts of defamation of Tressel and Ohio State proved false. He then went into the draft as an overweight scumbag and was then cut from the Broncos. He then went crazy trying to kill someone (or at least was going to).
He chose to f--- up his own life, and I have no respect for the guy. I hope he gets raped in prison.
