either way he would be behind bars and would never play on the NFL field for a very very long time. Smart move by Vick to avoid long prison time because he would of been ****ed if he went to trial.

Hopefully Goodell lays down the ban hammer. I hope he can find a way to twist the gambling charge enough to get Vick locked up.

IMO...the Goodell track record says that Vick never plays in the NFL again.

If Godell can suspend Odell Thurman for another season, Vick will never come back. Even if he does, he'll be old and no one will want him.

After getting out of prison, lets say he get off on "good behavior" after 8 months, then he meets with Goodell. Goodell could pull a Pete Rose and set a lifetime ban on him from playing in the NFL, but I see a full season. At that point he has missed two full NFL seasons, would be in his late 20's and trying to sell himself as a convicted dog fighter/gambler/killer... I don't see any owner biting on that (no pun intended).

Owners would, but the thing is, Vick is a quarterback. If Vick was a receiver or other position, he would have people interested.
