Either team winning is good for the NFL to me.
Pats win, undefeated season, NFL history, etc.
G-men win, Eli gets first SB win, becomes part of the first brother QB tandem to win a SB ring.
Win-win either way.

I'm still lost on how it's dumb to pick the Giants? And cooljay, just because one in five people on television pick against the Patriots each week for the past four weeks doesn't means EVERYONE picks against them to be safe, sorry. Maybe they're doing that in Canada? No one knows football in Canada! People can pick who they want and there's no reason for you to be whining about it. Perhaps they're not picking them just in case? Wouldn't people be picking the Pats by now anyway, just in case?
On that note, the Giants are going to win. Cooljay will cry and everyone else will feel like an idiot for giving the Giants no chance.

The Patriots aren't a "safe" pick.
If people pick New York, it's no big deal if they lose. People will say "Well the Patriots are undefeated, it's not a suprise." But if New York wins, people can say "Well I called the biggest upset in Super Bowl History, blah blah".

I'm not trying to start anything with him, I just don't understand the whole whining like a baby thing he did on the last page. People are gonna pick who they want and just because 1 out of every 34349834 people pick against the Patriots doesn't mean everyone's doing it to be "safe". One guy on ESPN.com picked the Giants....one. Sorry about the way I went about that Cooljay, just doesn't seem to right to be getting mad at people for picking the Giants, on this board or on television or whatever. Just because you think they might be picking the Giants so if the Giants win they can "HA HA I told you the Giants would win!" doesn't mean they are. The Giants lost by 3 points just a couple of weeks ago and the Giants can very well win this game. We cool? We cool. Heh.

yeah the Jets in SB 3 i think is prob the biggest or maybe the first time the pats won against the rams.
And Loki from what I have seen alot of people on DC ( who really have no reason for liking the Giants or any other team the pats have faced the past 4 weeks (pretty much everyone except you and maybe usma) deciding to pick against the pats. As well I have seen 8 different analysts pick the Gianst not just to cover the spread (which I think they will I'm predicting 31-27 for the pats) but to win outright. In fact the entire panel for Sportsnet (Canadians but they were all former NFL players) picked the Giants to win. One guy even predicted 31-17 for the G-Men.
I know not everyone is picking them but seems like everyone who does is blindly ignoring the fact that the Pats are the most talented team not just this year but of all time. (Yeah I said it). They're going by momentum or mojo or whatever other bullshit they can come up with to justify their stupidity. I'm not saying you are cause I understand why you picked the G's their your team if you didn't think they would win you're not a real fan (and I think you are a real fan).
Honestly I am prepared to stake my reputation on the fact the Pats will win the SB. They're just too good and have come too far riding perfection to let it get away now.

Anyone who picks the Giants is only doing so out of dislike for the Pats. And to ignore the talent the Pats have and the history they've made is just ignorant.

This thread reeks of Giant-hate... the thing I laugh at every time there's a big game, guys like DB always get so high on the team they think will win. Good for you, you think that team will win. God forbid a true New York Giants fan thinks his team has a legitimate chance to win when, believe it or not, his team has a legitimate chance to win. Undoubtedly his team played New England the toughest all season, and if there's any team that can take down the Pats, it's the Giants. I'm not saying New England will lose or that I even want the Giants to win, but why such arrogance about it?
If the Patriots win the game, JTR, DB, and all the others who are so "Giants can't win it's impossible" will feel all high and mighty and wait for Loki to make a post in defense and then you'll go ahead and pounce on him. If the Giants win, Loki will attempt to make a "I told you so" post and then you guys will all be either making excuses or act like you don't care because it isn't your team that was playing. Pretty much seems that way every time there's a big game going on.
On a side note, I will be working tomorrow from 3-9. In conclusion, I hate my life.

You are in for such a letdown tomorrow... that's what I'm afraid of..the Giants just run out of gas and get blown out Im afraid the terrible version of Eli Manning will show up tomorrow. I dont think he'll be able to handle all the pressure of being on the biggest stage and facing a great team.
