btw, freak was right. Tom Petty was game MVP. He had all of the essential qualities. The performance was flawless. He had a nice beard going, voice was good, made a nice switch in guitar during the set, the dude is a seasoned vet.

He still beat you I had to get that in too Love this from Sportsline - To win your first 18 games, only to lose number 19. To be named one of the best teams ever, only to lose when it counts the most. To be given the title of best quarterback ever, only to be outmatched by a young counterpart playing just in just his first Super Bowl. To be Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, the New England Patriots, or Boston-area fans right now cannot be a good thing.

A thought I just had. How pissed off is Belichick right now? Very.
Fair warning to all 31 NFL teams next year, watch out.
You thought this year was bad, oh my, what he is gonna do next year.

IMO, the Stanley Cup celebration is 100x better than this.

IMO, the Stanley Cup celebration is 100x better than this. Yes it is. Also, the Stanley Cup celebration isn't racist against Canadians.

Nothing will ever top seeing Ray Bourque get to hold that Stanley Cup for the first time. Most chilling sports moment I've ever seen.

Nah, I expect the Pats to lose a few key pieces next year not to mention a few more games....Maybe Seau/Brushci/Faulk will retire. Asante Samuel can be a free agent since he's under the franchise tag right now. Brady can get injured. Etc....
