Are the ratings as low as they were in the beta versions of the game (like is Tim Duncan still only an 89 overall?)

Are the ratings as low as they were in the beta versions of the game (like is Tim Duncan still only an 89 overall?) Ok I'm back. Unfortunately the ratings have not changed, as much as I hate to say it. But that's why they include Edit Player. Here's my mini-review: After extensiveplay the game is great. I have not found many flaws so far. I would first like to say that this is not a game you can pick up and expect to win instantly. As the Pistons, I found myself down to Charlotte 11-0 before any of my players broke a sweat. It takes practice. Especially the All-star weekend modes. My first go at 3-point shootout saw me make no shots as Kyle Korver. Dunk contest is hard to master as well, but luckily a "Slam Dunk School" mode has been included. Despite the difficulty, All-Star Weekend is superb. Ernie Johnson and the other guy (his name escapes me) are good. During the dunk contest, they even introduce the judges (The shortest player ever to compete in a Slam-Dunk contest, Spud Webb!) Judges include Moses Malone, Julius Irving, and Clyde Drexler. Graphics = amazing. You have to go to instant replay and zoom in to really appreciate how great they look. Faces are almost perfect. The only face I've seen that I did not like is Steve Nash's, his hair doesn't look attached to his head. Haven't gone deep into Dynasty Mode yet, but I simmed a season and offseason. Season is cool. Owner can get annoying on PDA, he hardly ever compliments you, he always picks out things you've been doing wrong and complains to you about it. It's also annoying how the coaching staff sends you the brand-new Power Rankings every week, which hardly ever change. Other than that, dynasty mode season is cool. You can even select one of four ringtones for your PDA. Offseason: Awesome. Lottery and draft = same as past years. Free agency using real money is sweet. However, signing free agents seems a little too easy, but then again, I've only been through one offseason. Players can be stupid too. Case in point: I already had 2 small forwards, rated 75 and 71. I offered a 68 SF a contract just to see what would happen and he accepted my offer without any hesitation. Just seemed kind of dumb to me. Now, the gameplay: Awesome. Flow much improved. There is actually a mid-range game this year. Freestyle Air is cool. Definitely like a real game. They toned down the Pro Hop, you can't use it to score at will anymore. You get a lot of fouls when you use it. However, if used correctly, it is a real deadly weapon. Quarters need to be up toward 9 mins though for realistic scores (at least for me). All in all, Live has lived up to the hype. The few minor flaws are overshadowed by the greatness of the game. I definitely recommend, no doubt. Biggest gripe I have is the stupidity of the ratings. Wow that was longer than I thought it would be.

I can answer ratings questions too, just don't give me 80 ratings to look up.

I have a kind of strange question...is the Pacers courts still incorrectly called "Pacers Arena" or did they fix it and make it "Conseco Fieldhouse"? That always bugged me in 04, my hometeam's court had the wrong name.

Sorry I took so long. I'm now making this also the Official Escape from BsktBallr's NBA Live Rampage Thread...
To the Pacers home court question, it is Conseco Fieldhouse this year.
If anyone has any more questions, I'll probably be on until 9 or 10 tonight, so I'll answer them more quickly.

^^He scares me. I hope you get Live soon, for the sole reason that you stop your insanity.
An amendment to my quarter length comment: It depends on the tempo you use. If you're a fast paced player who shoots quick and doesn't move the ball around much, 6 mins. will be good for you. If u like to burn shot clock and move it around, i say about 9 or 10 mins. If you're in-between like me, I use 7 and am satisfied with results. You have to experiment with it.
I'm still open to questions, ratings, etc.

Life has meaning for some of us...that is, those of us that have Live.
Those who don't, well, yeah. For them, life has no meaning and they must die.
