I made that point for the fact that he is the best shooter other than Chauncey Billups and Tayshuan Prince on the Pistons team. He also shut down Ron Artest in the playoffs..

As a die-hard Piston fan, I need to say a few things. First, Rip is the best shooter on the team, Prince and CB are good, but damn, when Rip gets hot, just give up, because he'll scorch you. Secondly, he guarded both Ron "Mr. Technical Foul" Artest and Reggie "Idiot" Miller and did a helluva job on both, he wore the Idiot out and completely made Artest lose it because of Rip's defense resulting in Mr. Technical's diastrous series, making Mr. Technical give that crucial flagrant foul (true to form) in the deciding game. And then in the finals Rip went lockdown on Kobe the Criminal. I don't know of many other pros who can do that.

^^Exactly why you should have kept Ron Artest.
The following players are not on NBA Live, but have a good shot at making their team. I can do some, if anybody wants to do others, feel free.
Horace Jenkins, PG, Pistons (I can do) Shaun Livingston, PG, Clippers (BsktBallr has it) Quinton Ross, SG, Clippers Andre Emmett, SG, Grizzlies (I can do) Antonio Burks, PG, Grizzlies David Bluenthal, SF, Kings David Young, SG, Sonics
Those are the missing players, I can do Jenkins and Emmett, and I know BsktBallr has a Livingston CAP. If anybody wants to make any of the others, feel free to do it and post their ratings here.

livingston is on the new EA roster updates... I wasn't sure, as I don't have the game yet . Anyway, I'm sure someone can give you a cap if you can't get the updates.

No way, definitely not Lebron, that would be way too unrealistic.

Guys, I just made my first official trade in all my time at DC.
PHILADELPHIA sends Glenn Robinson and Kedrick Brown to INDIANA in exchange for Jonathan Bender, Austin Croshere, and Fred Jones.
Why did it happen?
Simply put, Indiana impressed me with their substitution patterns when I played them in my dynasty. Bender got clutch minutes, while Croshere and Jones really rode the bench until times when the game couldn't really be unbroken. I think Jon scored something like 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds off the bench for them. You see, that's when I targeted him. I knew he was a versatile seven-footer with a game similar to Jermaine O'Neal, who ironically rode the bench behind Rasheed Wallace in Portland. See a pattern? His ability to one day become a Top-5 PF/C in the east was incredible, so I couldn't help but fall in love with his game. Croshere and Jones were throw-ins that I felt would be good compliments to my rotation - shooters with tough tendencies.
On the other hand, Glenn Robinson was junk for a starting SF. He could not shoot, defend, nor keep his stamina, therefore, he's now gone. Kedrick Brown became a favorite of mine, but hey, you have to give a lot to get what you really want. In my eyes, it was fair for both sides. Post your thoughts.

Good trade man, better than trying to get Hughes, cause that would be unrealistic, but one question, whats Indy going to do with the Big Dawg? They got Artest, and god knows he never takes a 5.

Simple. They need a shooter that can replace Reggie when he retires after this season, and The Puppy fills that role. So does Kedrick.

Especially the way the Pacers are playing now, with the bench guys starting and outplaying other teams starters, I don't think the Pacers would part with any of those players, especially in the same deal. Still, its just a dynasaty, have fun with it.

Ballr - I absolutely love that trade. I want Bender sooo bad but Indy won't part with him, so I broke off discussions. at Larry Bird!

How's this trade for my Miami Heat?
Setven Hunter(Phoenix)
for
Rasual Butler
After watching him play against the Cavs, the guy is ful of potential. He's looking good. Maybe i should SLIGHTLY edit his rankings.

Here's my beef with Steven Hunter. The guy is just plain old stupid, no basketball IQ whatsoever. With his mentality and childish behavior in Orlando, he was traded to Cleveland, then later waived. Point is, if Steve-O doesn't shape up as a big man, he'll have a helluva hard time making any team...period.
This just goes to show how strongly I hate him. When the Sixers almost picked him up off waivers, I literally disowned my team and the NBA in general. Seriously.

Hmm... in the first dynasty I did with the Lakers, which I don't have up on here, Miami offered me Damon Jones for Jumaine Jones.
Never having used Jones (Jumaine), I traded for a lower-rated player, but the results were great.
I think D.Jones is a 57 and J.Jones is a 61, but D averaged something like 20ppg after I got him.
