1) That always happens to me too. Not sure. 2) The other team always plays almost all their players against me.

yeah for #2 do you remember how to fix that? Not sure, probably there is some slider affecting that. But I never messed around with any so I'm not sure.

when ever i play my games 1) the PG Im playing as gets all the points, 2) the other teams never makes subs can someone tell me how to fix this? first, Live or ESPN? Question 1 is all about the style of play. When I had my SA dynasty going, I found it was easiest to truely play like the Spurs. i.e., TD had a touch every possession, draw the double teams, swing it around, let manu and tony penetrate, etc. It's all about how you play. I'd found Live has good gameplay if you defend well and if you're patient on the offensive end. Question 2 sounds like a fatigue thing. If they fatigue is not up high enough, they will have no need to sub.

this is live 2005, thanks robino, I put faigue at 100, and they still have 5 fouls, played the whole game, still no subs.

I played my games with 5 or 6 minute quarters, I forget, and I'd get like an 8 or 9 man rotation for my opponent. I also would rotate about 8 or 9 men in and I believe my fatigue was around 50. I guess just keep playing around with it to find something to work.

Don't you get a seperate slider option for Substitutions? It not be in gameplay, like settings or rules or something, and for the PG getting a lot of points, unless their someone really good, you shouldn't have the 3 point slider up too high and most of all, control your PG and play pressure defense, never let him have space and stick with him, don't take off for double-team, I can really shut down an opponents PG, force him to pass and make bad shots, Good Luck, I'm pretty sure theres a slider for Subs, if not ask me again and I'll look at my game, it has very good subs rotating nicely

In Live, there is a slider for subs. Live only has one list, and it's like "CPU Substitution Frequency".

I am having the same exact problem in live when it comes to stopping PGs. In my Wizards dynasty, many PGs have posted over 36 with the most recent being Steve Francis with 46 POINTS! I try to manually cover him with Arenas, who is a pretty good defender, but it just too hard. Even bad PGs post good numbers.

Go into gameplay settings and go to the Computer settings go to comp. substiutions and go up to like 40 or 50. Whoops you already solved that problem, put the Gameplay speed down, and guard the PG fullcourt, and he will pass a lot, believe me I do it every game to get other people on the team the ball.

yeah i put it on 100, they still don't sub, maybe I will make the quarters longers p.s- sorry im being annoying In order for them to substitute, you have to put your "User Substitution Frequency" up to at least 10 or 20 to the point where the computer only subs for you when they get completely tired or like 5 fouls P.S- sorry about the double posting, wanted to help with your problems...

I played half court d and had no problem. I've found from playing online that most people can't defend. Keep the finger on the L trigger (xbox) at all times and body up on them.... as simple as it sounds, stay precisely between the man and the basket. Force the passes to be around the arc, etc. Learn how to play the pick and roll... learn how to fight through the screens, go above them, etc. Learn how to quickly switch off, rotate men when your guards get posted off the pick and roll.

I play halfcourt D too, and the PG always seems to be deadly. Not in every game, but they will usually go for 20-30 points consistently. Now obviously if D. Wade is manning the point, I'm happy, but if its Luke Ridnour I am annoyed.

I can't ever really think of getting burned except for like TMac, Allen, Peja maybe.... it's always the shooters coming off screens, was NEVER by a PG.... i don't remember specific stats but it was rare if a PG went for over 10 against me.

When I play, two players (normally one was the PG), would go for around 50 points combined, then the rest of the team would be shut down.
One of the scorers would always shoot like 6-25 but get to the line 15 times.

Robino, can you post your sliders, if you want, whenever you get the chance I have none, I played on all-nba i think it is (the toughest), and the ONLY thing I adjusted was fatigue up to 50. That's it.
