Yao sucks, I wouldn't rate low because of it. I only really care about guys with Kobe, Billups, Shaq, Duncan and Pierce.

Alright, how is this trade- Philadelphia Acquires- Bo Outlaw and Joe Johnson
Pheonix Acquires- Rodney Rogers and Aaron McKie I think that that is a fair deal, because McKie might be gone for the next year, and RR's contract is kaput after the year, and in the game I am almost done the year, and I was not going to resign him anyway, so right before the deadline, I traded him..

Fair has nothing to do with it, it's about realism.

Then why would we all rate low if we see someone trade Nazr Mohammed straight up for Yao Ming? Well I agree that is stupid. I have seen some ratings that have a trade like an 80 for an 81 but they are both guys that would not be traded and people get on the guy saying, unrealistic.

Yeah, I totally agree. It's hard to judge these sort of things. Phoenix is so high on Joe Johnson in real life, that trading him in the virtual world might be close to dangerous on DC.

I still haven't gotten flamed for acquiring Joe Johnson for next to nothing. Then again, they had him on the trade block in my game, so meh.

I am just thinking, what if someone was the Lakers and traded Shaq before it happened in real life. Do you know how much he would have gotten ripped? Espeailly if he only got what the Lakers got in real life.

Here's the deal. If you make a blockbuster trade that doesn't quite make anyone fall out of their seats, it might be fine. If they make a huge trade like that right of the bat, then we know...

DB a couple years ago if I was to say that to you the Broncs would trade Portis to the Skins for Bailey you would have thought I was smoking dope. But that deal went through despite everyone saying how Portis and Bailey were untradable. The fact of the matter is that no athlete is safe no matter how productive, how good for the community, or how good of a person he was.
Did anyone think the Oilers would trade "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky, who is without a doubt the greatest Hockey Player of All Time? No.
What about A-Rod? What about Babe Ruth? What about Shaq?
The truth is that in sports today noone is safe, no matter if you're D-Wade, Shaq, Kobe, Garnett, Duncan, Farve, Brady, Tomlinson, Sakic, Kariya, Crosby, A-Rod, Jeter, Clemons, or Johnson.

For a second I thought you were lumping in Bobby Crosby with those other players. Clearly, you can see I know enough about hockey to know who Sidney Crosby is, but not to care.

No, Favre is safe. There is absolutely no way the Packers would trade Favre to anyone else.

Geez, sue me for recommending the guy be realistic. In most of the trades you mentioned, contracts, demands, all that stuff played big parts in each of those deals. Is there something you have against realism? Man...

Yes I do have something against it. Realism is for losers </sarcasm>
DB all I was doing was telling you to lay off him for making an "unrealistic" trade. However you must understand that any trade can be realistic because noone is safe in sports anymore. One injury, one bad play, or one loss could cause you to be traded.
And Usmaman are telling me if the Packers were offered Vick, Manning, Brady, Culpepper, Hasselback, or ay other good young QB that they would not take him. If you believe that you need to check your head.
And I am sorry I cant spell a washed-up, old, crappy pitchers name. Sorry I have something against Clemens after he deserted Toronto for money.

He ain't old, washed-up, or crappy. Don't ever talk about Roger Clemens that way because you are a bitter fan. The man is simply amazing.
