I was reading on SI.com a bit ago and they said that the Philadelphia 76ers should trade Allen Iverson away to the Western Conference.
Now I am not saying that the Philadelphia organization is actually talking about it, that's not what the topic is about. This is merely a thought that Jack McCullum had, which is to trade AI.
Thoughts on this?

Ed Snider said today that no one is off-limits, including AI. Whether Billy King can get something whipped up between now and Thursday remains to be seen. I personally think a deal of this magnitude would require weeks, if not months of negotation.
In other news, Larry Brown desperately wants John Salmons, or at least Stephen A. Smith claims. The Knicks are ready to offer Trevor Ariza and Jackie Butler.

wow that sould be the worst trade Seattle could do. Allen for well Allen would be absolutely retarded. It makes no sense. Allen puts up just as many if not more points than Iverson on a much better team with other scorers on it. IMO Allen > AI

The Sixers took a swing at that trade last week (Allen and Evans for Iverson).

While we're on the topic of AI, just thought I'd fill you guys in on a little secret. Three sources on different Sixers boards have confirmed that a trade involving Kyle Korver is in the works, but not one of them will reveal who it is for.

If Harrington came to the 76ers, you guys would be G- Iverson G- Iguodala F- Harrington F- Webber C- Dalembert nice lineup for you guys, but I think the Hawks should reconsider. |
