LeBron ... haha. Apparently you know nothing.
Steve Nash and Elton Brand are the only ones deserving of MVP at this point.

Brand because he was an ex-Bull. nah just messing, I seriously think Elton Brand though, because he has led the Clippers to the fourth best record in the Western Conference, which is something they're not used to

Nobody cares about Chauncey Billups. he deserves a look.
I'll go with Steve Nash only for the sake of not looking like a homer.

Brand, Nash, or Nowitzki are the closest MVP candidates, IMO. But I'm not sure exactly which one of those three are the most deserving. I'm leaning towards Brand. He's been a beast, this season.

But obviously Alex you know nothing, because for the Cavaliers to become one of the best teams in the east behind the talent of LeBron is amazing. LeBron should win MVP. Brand is leading his team, but then again, he has Corey Maggette, Cuttino Mobley, Chris Kaman, and Sam Cassell helpoing him win. All LeBron has is Big Z.

Whoa...when did the Cavs become one of the best teams in the East? Did I miss something? They fade late in the season and are primed for another first round exit - 2nd, if lucky. Lebron has Hughes for half the season, Gooden's not bad, and of course, Big Z. He has just as many weapons as Elton Brand.

Plus the Cavs got Donyell Marshall whose capable of putting of 15 ppg, if needed. Of course he's only averaging 10 ppg cause he's services aren't needed as much. The Cavs have plenty of talent. Brand is just playing better and helping his team more than LBJ, flat out.

Nash, Brand, or Nowitzki are the players I see that have a chance of getting it. Right now im leaning towards Nash, because he is leading the Suns to a great season, even with Amare on the bench. Nash is pure amazing, and I sure do miss him.

PLAYERS THE CLIPS HAVE ACCORDING TO YOU THAT "HELP" Maggette- hasn't played 1/4 of the season Mobley- worst season since 03 Kaman- gotta love big guys that play weak Cassell- has improved, I'll give him that It should be Nash, but I'm afraid people will be hesitant for a repeat. I really hope it is him though. Nowitzki is my runner up, followed by Brand, or Billups. It really is a shame that the top 4 scorers aren't going to probably even be Top 4 in the MVP race, and they're all having career years...

Well, I wouldn't call Kaman "weak". Behind Shaq and Yao, he's probably my pick for the best true center in the NBA.
But Jesus is that guy ugly.

It really is a shame that the top 4 scorers aren't going to probably even be Top 4 in the MVP race, and they're all having career years... By that logic... HUGHES : LeBron only had him for 28 games. JONES : Worst shooting display ever. BIG Z : Inconsistent SNOW : No scoring. I'm not saying LeBron is the best, but I think he should win MVP. But if he doesn't win, I'm going with Steve Nash, because the Suns are winning without Amare Stoudamire, and Nash is turning no-names into stars, like Boris Diaw.

My reasoning:
Phoenix: 45-21 Cleveland: 38-29
Nash is shooting better. He's playing 6 less minutes a game.
And he's doing this all with less talent in my opinion. No one thought they'd be any good without Amare.
Diaw is having the best year of his career, as well as Raja Bell, James Jones, Barbosa (was), Shawn Marion, Eddie House, and even Tim Thomas looks decent.
In Cleveland, Varejao, Marshall, Jones, Jackson, Hughes, and Gooden have all regressed or not made progress.
I'm not saying both are directly attributed to Nash or LeBron. There are other mitigating factors definately such as injuries, new environment, etc. But they do play in. I find it no coincidence that people are having career years in Phoenix and not in Cleveland.
I do think LeBron is an exceptional player don't get me wrong; just not the MVP.

In all seriousness, probably Nash, Elton Brand or someone on the Pistons because voters love media friendly peeps.

LeBron ... haha. Apparently you know nothing. So do i still know nothing? Cavs on a 9 game winning streak, LeBron has scored 35 plus points 7 straight games (only two to ever do that since the 70s, MJ and Kobe), won Eastern conference player of the week for the third straight week (First person to ever do that) and won March player of the month.

How about Shawn Marion?
Kinda sucks that he's overshadowed by Nash though.

Marion hasn't carried the Suns the way Nash has. Just look back at the days when Shawn Marion was considered the 'leader' of the team. They were just a middle of the road team. Nash made them better by a mile. He's made everyone he's played with better.
