I think we would go 7 games against the Heat should we beat the Pistons. Heat would win, and the Heat would play the Mavericks, who just beat the Clippers in a 6 game series. Mavericks would win the finals in 4 games. As much as I would love to say 4, its going to be a 5 or 6 game series. Wade will step up at least one game. But right now we seriously need to worry about the spurs, because after Terry's bullcrap suspension, the Spurs have a serious shot. If Josh Howard can step up and score 15+ I think we can win.

Funny how a lot of people, including myself had a Spurs/Pistons final prediction. And now both teams could be eliminated tonight.

If the Pistons win - they still win the title. I still say Mavericks out of the west - I called it at the beginning of the playoffs and that's not about to change.
Supposing the Pistons lose, Heat in the NBA Finals in 6. Mavericks beat Dallas in 7 and beat Miami in 6 for the NBA Title.

Mavericks beat Dallas in 7. That's not even possible. ;D But I agree with you there. The Heat will blow by the Cavs, because the Cavs will be tried, and wasted all there energy getting by the Pistons. Thats only if they win tonight, and if they dont Mavs beat Pistons in 7.

Yeah what's up with that Terry suspension. I was looking at the replay about 20 times, and I just didn't see it. I saw Finley get ticked off at something after, but didn't see any sort of punch. But I expect Devin Harris to pick up the slack. He's done great this series...

"he hit him in the jewels".... i saw finley get upset when it happened but the tnt crew missed it all together but no one saw the punch until yesterday.... and you really can't ignore it - a punch is a punch, nba rules state any punching motion with a fist is a one game suspension - there are one or two angles that show it and you really can't argue against it

High scoring affair with Detroit and Cleveland so far. 40-39 Pistons a minute into the 3rd...

Then Terry gets at Finley who is leaning on him, and all over him after the play, and he is suspended. I dont think this is a suspension, and even many Spurs fan dont think so.

Whether it was bad enough for a suspension really isn't an issue.... if it was my team with the suspension i'd be upset about it to, but i wouldn't cry about it because it's simply being enforced by the rules.... can't stray from the rules just because or you can't try and judge intent, etc.... a swing with a closed fist is a suspension... always has been, always will be.... karl malone knocked david robinson unconscious in the playoffs and knocked him out of the series in 98 but he wasn't suspended because an elbow is regarded differently by the league... just how it is

Okay, I'm going to be acting as DB, acting as Howard Dean.
We're going to Milwaukee, and Cleveland, and Miami! and then we're going to New Jersey, and Milwaukee, and Washington, and Indiana! And then we're gonna go to the Finals and take back the NBA CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
YEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Well...that was awesome. I'm not gonna freak out yet, but I'm very happy to say the least. We have game seven in Detroit, should be a good situation for us.
Cavs fans should be pissed that their team couldn't get a simple defensive rebound in that last minute and a half.....that'd kill me if it happened to my team.

Thank the Lord. Just thank the Lord. Cavs played a great series, but we finally saw some Detroit Basketball in game seven.
Bring on the Heat!

Cavs played a great series Finally DB shows some love to the Cavs, u may not say this but all of of the piston fans were scared at one points. Cavs had a great season, and we will be back next year. Good luck to the pistons.

The Mavs better win tonight. I'm SO sick of seeing Detroit/San Antonio in the finals. It's getting disgustingly boring.

I wanna see a Spurs/Suns rematch, and we already have a Pistons/Heat rematch. I dont know, I just think it would be cool to have the same final four as last year.

Part of me is pleased that the Spurs are out and I won't have to sit through any more 80-75 games in the Finals (assuming Detroit makes it, of course) but part of me wants revenge for last year.
