Iverson's gone by the start of next season. I guarantee it.
Glen Macnow of WIP in Philadelphia reiterated something Howard Eskin mentioned a few days ago, and that is the Sixers' STRONG interest in Randy Foye. They've worked him out at least once and saw tremendous ability, capped off of course by the hometown Villanova factor. Foye'll be far gone by the time Philly picks at #13, so they have been fighting to move up and take the kid.
Another interesting thing to point out is Billy King's history of privately working out prospects that have been projected to go way higher than the position they pick (see Iguodala, for example). Word around town is that Rudy Gay stopped in for a visit sometime in the past couple of weeks.
Moving to #9 and getting Randy Foye on top of someone like Cedric Simmons at #13 would be a perfect draft.

Sixers chairman Ed Snider has ordered the trade of Iverson. It's almost a lock he'll be moved now.

I'd like to see him in a Hawk jersey.

If they're giving up Iverson i'd assume they'd keep their 13th pick too right? IF they give him away and that pick its a horrible trade.

No, I can assure you he is not. For the SECOND time, Sixers chairman Ed Snider has reportedly ordered the trade of Iverson. He's already been actively shopped in trade talks and this will continue. He's on his way out.

I will believe it when I see it. This time does sound like its going to happen. I would love to see him in ATL, but I see the Warriors being the better option.

Answer: “Actually, more calls about other guys.” And..... king said that they are unlikely to trade this late

I can ASSURE you Iverson will be traded. Alex knows more about the Sixers than the rest of this forum combined. It's not King fielding calls about Iverson, it's King calling others regarding Iverson.
Any trade now is unlikely to include draft picks, but he'll be dealt.

Trades can be always be made at the eleventh hour. Billy doesn't necessarily have to trade before the draft ... he could tentatively come to terms with, say, Atlanta if someone selects Brandon Roy and negates the Houston trade. He could say, "Look, we want Foye. Iverson's yours if we can work something out after the draft."
Iverson is gone by October. There's no easy way of putting it. He's done.

Any trade now is unlikely to include draft picks, but he'll be dealt. It won't happen, but.... Trade AI and Kevin Ollie to the Cavaliers for Big Z, Ira Newble, and Eric Snow. It would work because Z is on the move as well, and Philly's big man situation is less than impressive.

That's a dumb trade and you know it.
I wouldn't touch Zydrunas Ilgauskas with a 10-foot pole.

If you did, you might aggravate his foot injuries.

Yes, considering the Sixers are aggressively shopping him...

Iverson will be gone. I am not big on the NBA but have a lot of friends who are. Not to mention living in an area where there are a good amount of Sixers fans.

If you did, you might aggravate his foot injuries. That's retarded to say, Bibby, because he is no longer hampered by foot injuries.
