What are you booing about? Still bitter about the phantom timeout? Get over it, loser.
Can't be any worse than Nazr "The Freeway" Mohammed. /applauds Joe Dumars

Can't be any worse than Nazr "The Freeway" Mohammed. /applauds Joe Dumars You do know Chris Webber is an immobile piss-poor defender, right? He hasn't hit that 12 foot jumper once all year it seems. He's a good passer, but Detroit doesn't seem to run an offense that he fits in. Obviously DB you've watched more Piston basketball than I certainly have, but it looks like Detroit runs backdoor screens to Rip, move it around the perimeter, and work it inside a little. They don't have the slashers that Webber can help thrive...

We're not looking for mobility out of him, and he'll be guarding centers so speed won't really be a factor. And you forget that Webber averaged 20 and 10 as recently as last year. He has a friendship with Rasheed Wallace and the Pistons hope that Webber can be a pick-me-up for Rasheed, who has been nothing short of lethargic lately, and he was just in a bad situation in Philadelphia. This isn't as bad a signing as it looks to you.

Let me key you in on something.
20 and 10 means NOTHING if he's letting his opponent put up the same numbers. And trust me, he does.
As far as I'm concerned, the guy's a washed-up bum and he's going to play like one in whatever situation he's in.
Webber is dead weight and nothing more.

Very happy to see him coming back to Michigan. I was always a Webber fan, timeout or no timeout. I think he will help us big time, especially with our depth inside. Dale David starting wasn't helping much. And god, Nazr Mohammed is awful...

Look. I'm not expecting Chris Webber in his prime here. He didn't like Philadelphia and he's excited to be coming here. I think he'll be better than you give him credit for. You're just bitter cause your team is horribly mismanaged.

I'm not bitter. Webber sucks and that's the long and the short of it.

If you insist. Hopefully you're proven wrong.
He got a standing ovation at the Palace.

Or is it just because he signed with the gayest team in basketball and that gayness carried over to him?

Well, if he's serious about covering it all, it should be: NFL - Broncos NCAA FB - Spartans NBA - Magic NCAA BB - University of Maine MLB - Mariners NHL - Bruins He'd pretty much hit all the corners.
