What is the best baseball game? EA looks good, but I have always been an all-star baseball guy. I like the hitting cursor, but have yet to attempt EA's hitting style. The pitching thing also looks weird. Hoping someone could give me insight. Is All Star Baseball really only $20?

Acclaim went bankrupt, so no All Star Baseball...
Major League Baseball 2K5 is $20, but I hate it. DB likes it, but I have no idea how.
MVP, in my eyes, is the way to go. The pitching thing is weird at first, but it becomes something you don't even think about after a while. Hitting is good, if you get it, watch the tutorials, because it might be confusing with the Pure-Swing System.
I can't give an opinion on MLB 2006, so might have to get that review somewhere else.

i didn't know that acclaim went under, hmm, maybe that is why walmart.com says they are out of stock of the ASB 2005. That stinks they were the best game a couple of years back. I really liked the pitching in ASB 2003 and the hitting cursor so that is disappointing, but life goes on. I guess I will try out MVP even though I have never particularly liked the EA baseball series. Always thought it was the worst of their series'.

Ken Griffey Jr. presents Major League Baseball for SNES. Go with a minor upgrade. Major League Baseball Featuring Ken Griffey Jr. for N64. I realize that the origional was a great game...but what fun is it playing with Frank Liberty and Pete Flash or whatever the superstars were named in that game?
