Am I missing something in the batting department? I have only hit like 4 home runs in 9 or 10 games and I am playing with the Cardinals. Walker has 2, Sanders 1, and Molina 1. Those HRs also all have gone right down the line, so I am not getting any real power on my swings. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Tinker with the sliders a bit, that's the only thing I can think of.

Nope, because he does not want to get suspended.

Nope, because he does not want to get suspended. It is only 10 games.

You could cork the bats like Sammy, but that doesn't add power, only bat speed.

bat speed helps generate power.

Not necessarily. I remember watching something on it when the Sammy incident occured. Can't remember what it said specifically.

I remember that Cerrano, SC DYK said that the cork only makes you hit the ball 3% farther. So if Sammy hits the ball 300 ft. with a normal bat, then he wil hit the ball a whopping 303 ft. with a corked bat.
EDIT: Hooray for my 500th post!

Go to Operationsports.com, look up Pared's sliders in the baseball section. They are great sliders. HR's don't happen every game, but I'll tell you, if you want to really focus on power. Wait for your pitch, sometimes you'll get it, sometimes you won't. When it's in your wheelhouse, press up and that sucker's gone.

I'm just saying that it's not that much of an improvement. It's not an automatic homerun hitter.
