Hey guys I am playing a Washington dynasty in MVP but not posting on DC ... and I traded away my first baseman Nic Johnson for Chad Tracy in may of the first season then i just trade Tracy for Julio Franco from ATL and since I got Franco he has hit 3 HR when I had Tracy he did nothing for me ... think I made the right choice to make the trade.
Also I have Mags on my team and I want to get rid of him who would be worth while to trade for

Well I think it was a bad trade if your looking for a future club, because Franco is going to retire at the end of the year. Tracy was a young player and you could have got a better deal if your were looking to trade him. But Franco is going to give you a hell of a year dont get me wrong, its just your going to have to replace him at the end of the year.

yea I agree but neither Tracy or Johnson was doing me any good so I got rid of both of them

Yea I understand that, Nick was a good trade for Tracy, but you got to remember that Tracy was young and will be a very good player in the future, you should have put him on your AAA team and you could have got Franco easily.

thats true ... but on the other hand I want to get rid of Mags .. who should I try and get for him?? Just like real life hes always injuried

Well I found a bunch of top prospects in the MLB for 1b. I will rate them on a 1-5 star caliber 5 being the best.
C.Pena (3)
H.Choi (2)
J.Morneau (3)
R.Howard (2) (but is one of nations top 100 prospects-very young)
M.Teixera (4)
A.Laroche (3)

You should have Sneider as your catcher. He is possibly one of the best.
But if you dont like him, its hard to find good catchers, I would consider going after J.Berroa (he is on the Braves AAA team) he will be a very good future catcher.

yea ... what do you think of a trade for Mike Matheny for Gary Bennett .. Matheny is .256, 3 HR, 25 RBI, 15 runs, 0 SB, 46 hits, .348 OBP and .367 SLG% .... while Bennett is .220, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R, 0 SB, 9 hits,.238 OBP and .293 SLG%

Yea that is good because you can still have Schneider in their because, also you will get a few years out of Mattheny because of his age. So go for it. But still use Schneider.
