You could have PMed him that... Well, he caught me on AIM about it a second ago. Either way, it's fine if he posts it here. The point is, I know this is a thread dedicated to Palmeiro's fall in terms of his Hall of Fame chances, but one off-topic posts triggers another. My post (see above) is a direct response to B2C, and it immediately shuts down that conversation. You, in turn, could have just PM'd B2C, telling him to PM me next time instead of posting it here, ending this whole debate. [/off-topic discussion] |

well you only see 5 lines of the conversation....so i have a hard time understanding that, but not like it matters, theres a lot of stuff i dont get.

I'm not trying to defend the guy or anything, but it is possible that he failed the drug test as a result of something other than steroids. It could have been from something as simple as an allergy medication, or it could have been a performance enhancer..we don't know, and we never will since MLB isn't allowed to announce what caused the failed test.
It's a shame since Raffy seems like such a nice guy, and it doesn't seem like him to do something like take steroids. It's unfortunate that we can't find out what caused the failed test, since now regardless if he's actually taken anything to help him play better or not, his name is going to get dragged through the mud.

That's exactly what I said on page one, but a bit more vague.
He released a statement explaining that he has no clue how the substance got in his body, and that he'll gladly abide by the new policy. Better, I guess.
