So 2k Games has announced that they'll be releasing MLB 2k5: World Series Edition on October 17. It features completely updated rosters, and a couple new game modes - one where you can replay classic Word Serieses of the past, and a mode where you can take any team and put them right in the middle of a Pennant Race and fight for a playoff spot.
Sounds very cool to me, I'll be picking it up.

I might pick it up, aswell. Only thing is I find my self playing football games a lot now I don't know if I would be in the mood for baseball. You know what I mean?

I heard that there is no franchise mode in it, just the Pennant Race. If that's the case, I ain't getting it.

I read on the game website or some company line "All the great features of MLB 2k5, plus..."
I took it that meant everything in the original plus the new features.

I think they will have a franchise mode because if you don't have that then that would be stupid and it might turn away some buyers.

I'm still hearing it's an expanded version of the original - even heard that some of the glitches have been fixed. So basically it's looking good.

I might have to snatch this up, especially if it's a beefed-up version of the original for less than thirty bucks, even if I'm too in love with MVP Baseball to let it go...
Is anyone deeply saddened by EA Sports' death with professional baseball video games?

Wait, there will be no MVP baseball next year?
If so then whats going to be the game to buy, with the graphics and features of MVP.

Old news. VC bought the rights to baseball. ESPN's graphics were much better than MVP's so I don't know where that is coming from.
EASports is coming out with a college baseball game though.
