Word is, they've been putting the majority of the work into the 360 version...fully 3D crowds and vendors, cloth physics, player-specific equipment.

Well, considering The Show is not available on Xbox....you're screwed.

If you have PS2 though, it appears as if the Show is the way to go. If you own an Xbox or an Xbox 360, you're stuck with 2K6 or nothing.

Imagine MVP 2005 but incredibly lamer. Pitching is horrible. Gameplay's horrible in general. I'm trading this stupid game in for a couple bucks the next chance I get.

I never understand why people think current-gen 2K baseball is going to be any good. They haven't put out a really good game since 2K2 on the Dreamcast.

Sometime, you'll all realize that this is simply the way to go. Not only good ol' MVP 2005...but the official MVP 06 mod with completely updated stadiums (day and night), full rosters right down to single-A, a new presentation...ah hell...here it is right from the source:

...well...either way...2K6 for the 360 is a thing of beauty. Nothing wrong with the pitching and gameplay as I see it, and it's basically the same game.

Not to the 360 version...

I'd recommend a rental first, though. It's one of those love it or hate it games.

Well ... on second thought, it isn't THAT bad. You just have to play around with the settings a lot.

They're working on a convert for ps2/xbox...but its still in beta for pc...

However...i know you download stadiums for xbox...not sure about ps2...and for sure you can get ultimate rosters 6.x (which is updated every week) for ps2
