Vote Chris Capuano for the NL's Final Vote player. The guy deserves it, but Nomar will probably win, which sucks. With enough votes, though, he might be the leading candidate to replace Pedro when he backs out of the game again (when's the last time Pedro pitched in the All-Star Game? 1998?). He's among the NL leaders in wins, strikeouts, quality starts...anything you can think of, the guy has been great at this year. He's had the misfortune of having his breakout season in the same year Tom Glavine realized he was Tom freaking Glavine, and Carlos Zambrano got picked because someone had to go from the Cubs. So if it's not too much trouble, just vote Capuano a few dozen times.

'99, he won the ASG MVP then That's the last time I think he pitched in one, anyway. Capuano blows, vote Nomar

Nomar leads the NL in batting. There's no way he shouldn't get it.

No doubt Nomar should make it. His numbers are almost good enough to get him the start. Plus he was hurt for a while... GO NOMAAAA

Dunn didn't make it. That is such B.S. Isn't he hitting around .220? I wouldn't vote him in. About Redman, there are two or three others I would have put in over him (on the Royals, anyways). Grudzielanek has had a bad month of June, but has been the best hitter on the team besides David DeJesus, who IMO is one of the ML's top young outfielders when healthy. A full season at the rate he's going, and he could have gotten some consideration.

That's the weird thing about Dunn... he hits for insanely low averages and strikeouts a ton, but you can't take him for granted because then he'll go and knock a couple out of the park. But I'm perfectly fine with Dunn not going in. There are couple of other guys that didn't make it that deserve it more than Dunn.
