"With the trade deadline approaching, are there any other big name players that might be shipped to another team?"
And now for a question to you personally: Would it be okay if I did a "Coach's Corner" feature a lot like your Mailbag one, except using Don Cherry? I don't intend on taking any questions, though, but I did get the idea from you.

Nage, yeah go for it. I thought about using Coach's Corner when I started but then I remembered that I hate Don Cherry. Thanks and look for a new feature on the greatest Sabres teams.

I did it! Im through a full season (not on here yet, im only up to game #53 but have patience.). Into the playoffs right now, hope to update like crazy soon.

Pavel Datsyuk is playing amazing right now and is the clear choice for mvp. Do you think this is once in a lifetime season or will datsyuk put up hall of fame numbers for the rest of the prime of his career?

This just in: two trades as the deadline approaches. minnesota offered me center Wes Walz for defenseman James Patrick. I accepted. I then turned around and sent walz and defenseman Jay McKee to Nashville for defenseman Danny Markov and role player Simon Gamanche. Thoughts?

I really like the trade from your point...Walz and McKee are average at best. So is Simon Gamanche...but Danny Markov is a beast. He dishes out hits and blocks shots.
However, I didn't like you giving up James Patrick...he brings a solid backbone to the defence, and has a lot of experience (then again, we are talking about a video game)

Well, from my point of view I was going to lose Patrick anyways. He's 42 and was certainly going to retire, so I got what I could and basically turned him into a top-4 defenseman who is under 30.

that's why I bump. Inactivity in this section for one, and i usually bump it when i've made an update (which I did). So leave the NHL section please.
