Is anyone as excited as me? I am so pumped, all 30 teams in action. Well, this is actually to make your prediction for the Stanley Cup Finals. My prediction is Calgary from the West, and Philadelphia from the East. With Philadelphia taking the cup in seven games.

I'm goin with Philly-Calgary too, as is everyone it seems. Hopefully my Sabres can get lucky enough to get into the 2nd round. Or at least make the playoffs. My cousins have season tickets, so I'll probably get to go to quite a few games myself.

To go back to Freak's opening comment, there's only 30 teams. And to somewhat defend feartheginn, the Thrashers could surprise this year. If Lehtonen is what he's been billed, then this team could be dangerous. But my pre-season predictions are:
Flyers over Sharks in 6.
