I know, I know. This has been said many times before. But I just find it disturbing that we get established members who enjoy the game of hockey who start up dynasties and then never touch them again. I'd love to see Irck, Freak and Captain Nage all start and maintain a hockey dyasty. C'mon people, it's getting lonley in the NHL section.

I still have yet to get the game. I am trying to get set for real life hockey, than I will probably get the game. I do want to join you though.

Hockey games = not as fun to play as football and basketball games. That doesn't help much.
Plus, a one year layoff doesn't help either. Maybe once the season gets started and people get excited and interested again, more sites will pop up.

I bought NHL 2k6 about a week ago and I plan to do an Avs dynasty very soon. I'm still getting to the new style of gameplay (I always bought the EA game in the past, but I made the switch) and figuring out sliders and things like that, so it may be longer than I want. It won't be as in depth as the Sabres one, but it should be pretty decent.

I learned like 90% of my sports knowledge through video games. Sad, yes, but true.
I like watching hockey as much as anyone, but I can't get into playing NHL video games.

Yup, I agree we need more NHL dynasties. I may throw my name into the NHL section as soon as I get the game (wont be for a month or two) and get my Ducks up and really going.
SPOILER: I will be doing a Flames dynasty if I do at all do one.

Id like to see some more "obscure" teams used as opposed to the big timers (Colorado, Detroit, Dallas, Philly etc.) Kinda why I picked Buffalo (besides being from buffalo) and take it from there. Can't wait to have some peers/

Since I was born in Buffalo, I certainly love the Sabres one up now.
I would do an NHL dynasty, since I think hockey is actually very fun for video games, but I can't seem to stop my games from being like 8-6 each time on NHL 2006.

Maryland, it's frustarting sometimes to have 6-5, 7-6, 8-7 scores but its fine i guess. it sucks though that in my Sabres one im the highest scoring team in hockey yet ive also given up the most goals in the league by far
