I used that thing to put in 2140 votes today, and all I had to do was click a button. Once.
Hopefully it works.

From voteforrory.com
DB is a cheater... the guys who started this campaign specifically mentioned that no auto-voting was to be done, as Rory would never cheat for anything...
Anyways, the league has fan voting for a reason. If the league wanted only the top players, the league itself would determine who was welcome to play. But because they allow fan voting, they make it so the POPULAR people play. Obviously this helps ratings because this is who the FANS WANTED TO SEE. So a league like the NHL has a choice. They can pick the players themselves and risk the harassment of the fans for snubbing a deserving player or they can allow fans to vote and let the populus choose who they want to see, reaping the benefits of the fan's satisfaction and can say to complaining fans that it's there fault their player got snubbed...

I still maintain we could've done worse to make a point to the NHL about the voting system. Seriously, we couldn't pull Richard Smehlik out of retirement for this occasion?

Oh, I'm SO sorry that I didn't read that. Just want to mention that the Vote-o-Matic was down last week, and look what happened. Yeah.

If you're supporting Rory, you might want to get some last votes in now, seeing how this is your last chance until they reveal the winners tonight...

They'll make sure Rory doesn't start if he even made it at all.

Maybe next time Rory Today @ 10:22 AM ET | Comments (21) The final All-Star voting is set to be announced later today, but a league source told the Vancouver Sun newspaper that Rory Fitzpatrick didn't finish among the top two vote getters for this years All-Star game. An awkward situation has thankfully been avoided. The same source also confirmed Roberto Luongo will be named the starting goalie for the Western Conference, finishing ahead of Miikka Kiprusoff and Marty Turco. www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=4720

This sucks hardcore...
But you know what, it was great for the league, even though he didn't get in. A guy on the voteforroy.com site said it best...
It's just a damn shame that Versus is going to have an incredibly low rating for the game, seeing how it's on a random Wednesday night. Rory would have made this game memorable, not because his stats sucked, but because the fans got what they wanted.
