some new stuff. I know that I am. I guess its just an age that we're at. I'm feeling so shitty right now for the things that have happened but I cant go back. I can't win this battle. I have fought so long for it but I have failed and it is going to be a long time until i'm happy again. I cant see the light at the other side of the tunnel now but I'm hoping that it is there because I'm looking for it. So many things are changing in all of our lives and things are going to suck for all of us, a lot. I just hope that you guys can all stick in there. I hope that I can. I just want to say good luck to everyone in what you guys do. I just want to say don't take life too seriously right now, just be yourselves, have fun and do what is right for you.
I wish you all the best.

I'm actually in one of those states of mind right now. It sucks and honestly, you just need to cling to those little things in life that you enjoy, lest you go insane and let life beat you down.

I've actually got things halfway together right now, but also realize shit can go down and change all of that in an instant. Just like someone else said, enjoy the little things that make you feel good, because that is what will keep you sane...
I mean other than realizing you have feelings for your best friend (chick obviously) of course......That's just small potatos though, because there are at least a ton of hot chicks up here to make shit better.

It will get better, it always does. My entire senior year I was miserable... all last year, suicidal thoughts and everything. I sucked it up and made it through, and now I'm happy as ever. It all works out in the long run. Just keep swimming I love that retarded fish.

I had suicidal thoughts, depression all like last year and sophomore year and even freshamn year. I lived a secluded life (basically because of my wiggerness) No i've learned to just be normal no wigger for me anymore I act like myself Really could give a shit what others think, and I'm hardly nervous anymore and even caught myself dancing in the huddle during our last varsity game which the whole crowd got a kick out of.
Basically what I'm saying dont take life seriously or it will be a horrible one, I feel sorry for my dad just because he is so uptight, Im prolly not uptight at all and dont let much things worry me.
Just live life chill and you'll be good. Now excuse me I have to go throw a party at my house when my parents are outta town, SSOOOO FIREE!!!

just keep your head up man, try to keep a positive attitude, something i'm just now learning how to do
as The Stranger (Big Lebowski) would say, "Some days you eat the bear, some days the bear eats you"
i really hope everything gets better for ya bro

Just curious because I'm a generation ahead and I'm curious to hear your opinions ...
What do you think is making your generation the most depressed in history?

I wish I could answer this question, but I honestly haven't dealt with depression. I have always been the type to just want to keep my head up and a smile on my face through no matter what situation. I know thats what everyone says, but its rare to see me extremely unhappy and when I am it doesn't last long.

Just curious because I'm a generation ahead and I'm curious to hear your opinions ... What do you think is making your generation the most depressed in history? I think a lot of it comes down to over protective parents who take their kids to a therapist when they get a little sad. The therapist then twists it quite a bit. We have a lot of people in this generation who can't get the idea that life is full of hardships. The world is a different place and the problems have changed. We see more broken homes now more then ever but think back to kids who had to deal with losing parents as a part of the terrible wars we were in before the Gulf War. So as Jeff said, I think a lot of people in this generation are pussies. I don't know if it is in their control however with parents freaking out every time they get a scrape on their knee.

I feel the same way, right now nothing seems exciting in my life. Even playing baseball, my first love, seems boring sometimes. It could be the confidence/girl issuses I'm going through right now. The only thing that really is fun anymore is going to school, sadly. Like some others said in this thread, I'm going to stick it out and hope it goes the best.

The only thing that really is fun anymore is going to school, sadly. Like some others said in this thread, I'm going to stick it out and hope it goes the best. Part of this is becoming an adult. Most things lose their luster ... I've had two moments in the past 5 years that I can recall being "overjoyed". 1) The time when I got married ... the day before and the day of ... 2) When I went to Chicago without my wife this past February. I've always wanted to go and I accomplished a dream. Outside of that, I get occasional holiday "chills" and a sprinkle here and there, but overall, life gets a bit old which sucks. I think one of the hardest things in life to do, especially when you're healthy and aren't facing your own demise, is to put value in small things. When we do that, our perspective can change, but it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to actually live that way.
