My HS was decent at 6-3 or something, but missed out on the state playoffs by a game. Pretty bad considering we are the biggest school in the state, but the coach peaced out after the season and he was really bad and never threw the ball. We have a sick QB (vermont standards) who started as a sophomore and will be really good, especially if the new coach likes to throw.

Our best player was Marcus Robinson. They showed 3 plays of his today on ESPN around 4:00...they were talking about how he is visiting USC this week. He has give UM a soft verbal but is very interested in LSU and USC.
Sportsbuck, how many yards deep are you from the snap? Anyone on here that can longsnap, perfect it and you will almost be guaranteed a scholarship if you can get 15 yards with a spiral in decent timing. It's the easiest way to the NFL as well...they just don't get all the glory and usually aren't drafted but are picked up shortly after. I was able to get this years long snapper a scholarship to FIU, granted there not that good but they still offered him a full ride. I got a junior (will be a senior next year) that plays Long Snapper and Tight End...he needs to get bigger but he definitely has some potential to go to an FAU or FIU type school

Was that smoke and mirrors or did he have real interest in them?

Depends on how fast the other team is at getting through the line and how solid my protection is. I'm hoping I can maybe get a scholarship or at least walk-on somewhere as a punter. I averaged around 37 yards a punt on JV last year, which would've been good for 2nd in the conference for varsity (Varsity punter only averaged 31 yards a punt, but he was coaches son, so what can you do?) Hopefully with another 2 years of weight training I can get my leg strength up to where I can get around 40-45 yards consistently, which would help if I wanna be a D1 punter.

I believe he did have interest with them but they kinda dropped out of he race between UM, FSU, UF, LSU, and USC. Believe me after UM's bad season this year and all this "Thug U" stuff he might just go to LSU or USC. Even though he's got a cousin that plays for UM and has gave a soft verbal...I don't think he's going to go there.
