Ok, ran into a little problem and i'm not sure what to do.
I just got a new laptop with Vista on it. I installed nero 7, but it turned out to be just a demo. I tried uninstalling it and it won't let me. Any idea how I can get rid of it?
Note: I tried just deleting everything manually and it won't let me.

Try going to add or remove hardware. If the program is there, then you should be able to uninstall from there...

Yeah, I have. I go to the control panel and click on "add/remove hardware" and trying to uninstall. It gets about 2/3's of the way done then says that the application crashed and could not be completed.
Edit: If anyone knows of a good program that will burn .avi files to DVD (other than Nero), please let me know.

That probably isn't a problem with Vista... but it is probably a problem with the download you made. I've downloaded shit like that before that I could never get off my computer... it sucks.

I've had the same problem before on my pc, which has XP. So I don't think it's a vista-only problem.

www.glarysoft.com/au.htmltry this software to help with removing the program... Even though this software is there to help uninstall software, since you couldn't do it with the regular windows version, this might not work still... just another idea because if the software won't let you uninstall, then thats a bigger problem (like something is running in the background of the OS or worse)...
