This is partly inspired by the thread regarding homosexual marriage and partly inspired by a research project I recently finished regarding equality.
I just wondered how some users feel around homosexuals. Maybe I am crazy in assuming that I will get honest answers, but I just wonder if there is any odd feeling in any user when they interact with any homosexuals.

I have barely ever hung out with gay people in my life. All of my friends are straight (At least to my knowledge).
I'm not going to lie or anything, I do feel rather uncomfortable around gay people. I don't have a problem with homosexuality as an lifestyle for a person, but I just don't feel comfortable around gay guys.

It feels a little weird to me. I don't have any gay friends which is why I notice the differences more.

I usually play along. Say stuff in a really gay voice like "Oh, stop it". Usually gets them to laugh.
One time I ran across one who is absolutely nuts. Thinks everything is prejudice. That's when it pisses me off. You say one thing and they take it as a prejudice.

What if someone came up to you and started praying after doing something because you are religious? I don't think it is that big of a deal but it doesn't mean it may not offend you. It is stereotypical. Imagine having to deal with that all the time? See, you have a lucky life, along with many of us on here. Male and white in this country is a damn blessing.

So why is it acceptable for black people to crack on white people about everything? I mean seriously we all deal with stereoptypical remarks based on who we are and what we believe in. The sooner a lot of people develp some thick skin and learn to laugh at these stereotypcial remarks, the better.

I am not saying it is acceptable for black people to crack on whites. I just feel that white males get the least of it out of everyone in this country today.

I beg to differ, but I will abstain because all it would do is cause an explosion of bitching about racism and I know Bama doesn't have the time to delete that many posts..

I am sure if we just keep it constructive, bama with not have to worry about deleting the posts. Of all of the discussions we have been having, I think we have all kept it pretty good. If anything, I would suggest we have been debating over all of the issues the forum has been discussing.

Freak, your kind of saying that black people aren't racist at times. I don't see how if a white guy sags his pants, he is being racist. I am not racist at all but living in Miami it really pushes your buttons. At many places if a Hispanic person trys to get your attention they call Americans "gringos". They say it to both white and black people and to an American thats very racist when it's in your own country because the word "gringo" means foreigner in Spanish. I've actually seen a black and white guy beat the shit out of three Hispanics because they were calling them and their family "gringos".
But for some reason everyone wants to bring up the racism topic. I'm not one easily offended and might sound like an ass with this topic. If a black guy calls me "cracker" I just laugh and they see that that doesn't intimidate me and then there cool with me and want to be friends. I swear I can go in the middle of the worst parts of Detroit and make friends with any black people. I don't even listen to rap music or even wear saggy pants.
If white people would stop classifying black people as killers and bad people, and if black people would stop classifying white people as rich and stuck up people we might all just get along in this world.
