Very interesting movie. I highly recommend it. I think it is the first time a full-blown action movie has had an Oscar-Worthy performance. Seriously Will Smith was amazing in this movie as besides his dog he is the only character in the movie for the first 3/4's. I think I what I like the most was thinking about what you would do in his situation. You know being the only person on Earth and all.

I've heard mixed things about the movie. I was going to catch it last night but I was called in to work. Maybe I will catch it over my Christmas break. I am 50/50 on it as of right now.

I've heard that the CG is shit and that the ending blew. I am excited to see There Will Be Blood.

The CG wasn't the best.
And the ending didnt suck, it was just brought upon very quickly. And you sit there with the feeling "thats how it ends?" They definitely could have spent some more time and wrapped up a few loose ends, but overall it was pretty good and Will Smith basically carries the movie the whole time. Incredible performance from him.
It kinda seems like it was a movie that didnt really know what it wanted to be. A horror/gore flick or a movie that focuses more on psychological stuff with some action mixed in. If you're expecting 28 Days Later or something like that you'll prolly be let down, but if you go in expecting a very solid movie you'll get that.

I guess the problem people are having is that it ended very suddenly. There was action up until that last minute which isn't the norm as usually they have action up until a point then it winds down, but this movie was different

I thought the whole movie was really good and then the ending ruined it. Great movie...bad ending that kinda makes you wonder how they could ruin such a good storyline. I guess the ending really isn't that bad but it is just very abrupt.

Why does Will Smith like to play the "god" roles? It seems like in every movie he saves the world.

Why does Will Smith like to play the "god" roles? It seems like in every movie he saves the world. What about Ali? or Bad Boys? he wasn't saving the world in those ones. Although yes he has had alot of roles where is humanity's last hope. Like IRobot and Independence Day.

Watched this today, can't believe what they did to it. I loved the ending to the book, and now the title doesn't even make sense.

The title is supposed to mean that he is a Legend for finding the cure to the disease and saving the world in the process with his cure.

The title is supposed to mean that he is a Legend for finding the cure to the disease and saving the world in the process with his cure. But he is a Legend in a different way in the book, Keeper explained it to me.

The title is supposed to mean that he is a Legend for finding the cure to the disease and saving the world in the process with his cure. The book shares the same name. The title fits the book ending better. Now the title doesn't make sense because of the ending being so different. Apparently the film is quite different from the book, as were previous attempts.

what happened in the book ending? He was killed after becoming what he fought. I recommend reading a summary of the book to get a good idea of it all. Wikipedia may actually have a decent one if you choose to go by that.

Like the vampire is a legend of our society, he had become a legend of the vampire society.
