The Local Radio Station

A local radio station, Sonic Modern Rock (aka alternative rock), did their countdown of the "most popular" 102 (their frequency is 102.9) songs of 2007 in Edmonton. The top 5 was:

1. Icky Thump - White Stripes
2. Pretender - The "Motherlovin'" Foos
3. What I've Done - Linkin Park
4. Paralyzer - Finger Eleven (this song was huge in Canada not sure bout US)
5. Hey There Delilah - Plain White Tee's

the whole countdown/look back at 2007 took over 9 hours. I listened to most of it while I was playing 360.

Thoughts on the top 5?

I hate Paralyzer. The top three are pretty good though. Who doesn't love 'The Pretender'?

EDIT: 'Hey There Deliliah' is in good spirit I guess. It is a decent song, but I just hate when the massive amounts of people listen to it. I know a lot of people listen to 'The Pretender', but the Foo Fighters are one of my favorites so that means nothing to me.

I have heard that from alot of people about paralyzer. I am sorta on the fence about it. Its an alright song but it got played the shit out of in Canada. Have you heard the rest of Finger Eleven's album it is way better than Paralyzer and one of my top 3 albums of 07
