Yeah, my personal experiences tell me that what you were saying was right. A lot of guys just don't have the balls to go up to a girl who is thought to be "too good for them" and give it a shot. I mean damn, you never know unless you try. Sure you may fail, but you will also never succeed if you don't try.

I'll never forget being in high school economics my senior year. The teacher was giving us notes, which basically meant we listened to music and talked of random shit. One day he looked around the room, and said one thing that was just great.

"You know, there are no George Clooneys or Brad Pitts in here. If you guys ever want to get the women you want, you have to learn to talk to them."

It was a great piece of advice that is pretty much everywhere. Hell, the movie 'Big Daddy' puts it best; Initiating the conversation is half the battle.

Actually, yes it does, but not a big deal. Everyone should read "He Just Not That Into You," mean way for women, used more by men. Also, Cosmo, no not gay, a great way to pick up some tricks and tips....

One rule: Never, and I mean never, agree to go shopping with them, regardless of how much food you are promised.

I went shopping with girls on the promise that I'd get all the pizza that I can eat, and I carried around 8 freaking bags. Haven't been in a store since.

I did that with my sister once and actually was fine carrying the bags until she went to Victoria's Secret. Hell, I didn't even get anything free, I paid for everything.

I've found that I am not a drop dead gorgeous kid, but I get women. And one night while pondering this, I found out why -- because girls like guys who pick their brains. Who make them wonder, who make them laugh intellectually. I get girls because I can get them to relate to me intellectually, and I get some damn good looking ones.

So any young bucks in HS looking for some advice, pick their minds. They might not realize it at first, but you're setting them up for something more.
