Just had a groom of mine call to have off today...he's been at partys all night in Little Havana. They have been on the streets out there since this news first broke out.

Until he dies, pretty much think of this as George Steinbrenner to Hank Steinbrenner, just as crazy. They're both bad, but fortunately knowing he's 76 and well on his way to dying, it's good to know there's potential for change. Not going to happen overnight, but it's a sigh of relief, and now hopefully the government will legalize Cuban cigars! Well not that I smoke them, but uh, yeah...

I think Fadel is already dead, they just wanted to keep the illusion of him around for a while. He ruled over Cuba for a good 50 years, it's got to be weird to have another ruler, even if it is a Castro.
Yeah though, pretty sure Castro is already dead and has been for a little while.

However, his health went really bad in June or July of 2006 and then nothing was really seen of him but like footage once every 5 months and the news stated it could have been older footage that was never released before. |

Exactly what I think has been happening. I mean, he wrote a letter to resign? A man who has run the country for 50 years wrote a letter? Nope, he's either in a coma, dead, or incapacitated in some fashion. |
