The Office this week was probably the worst ever. I am pretty much out of faith for that show, How I Met Your Mother is the best comedy on these days.

The Office is amazing. I got Seasons 1-3 for Christmas and that is all I have been watching.

Season 2 finale was definitely the pinnacle of the series, 3 was good, but 4 has just been bad so far.

4 has just been bad so far. Yeah, I haven't really watched 4 yet, so I probably spoke too soon. I kind of lost track for a bit, so this week I've been catching up.

Yeah, I just feel like the writers have been really lazy this season. Jan was so overbearing, her character has no purpose anymore and needs to be written off. There's not been a bit of plot advancement this season.
I mean, the writing for last night was "Hey, let's get them to Michael's house, and it'll be funny". No Creed, Stanley, Oscar, and Kevin hurt the episode, and the jokes were just all stuff we've seen before.

Yeah, the supporting characters really make this show, all of the small jokes here and there. I kinda feel like all the writers have been getting very lazy as of late. Maybe I'll have to check out How I Met Your Mother.

I used to hate on it because it had a laugh track, but over Christmas vacation I ended up flying through the first two seasons. It's honest and hilarious, and just has so many brilliant running jokes. That and Neil Patrick Harris is the man.

The Office this week was probably the worst ever. I am pretty much out of faith for that show, How I Met Your Mother is the best comedy on these days. I agree that the episode thursday was terrible. They took the whole office component out of the show. I was actually very happy with this week's Office. I'm not exactly thrilled with the direction of the show right now. We need to see a fight between Pam and Jim or I'm just going to start hating both characters because no one can be that happy all of the time. So I want to see a little drama damn it. They're also going out of their way to beat into our heads that Jan is crazy. I'm not a huge fan of that either. Overall though, this week's Office kept me amused from start to finish and that's all I could really ask for out of the first episode following the writer's strike. The Office is a show that is still in great shape, but slipping a little. Hopefully they don't go the way of Scrubs, which has been unwatchable to me for this season and most of last season (it did end strong IMO).
