This has probably been done before, but I thought it’d be a good topic in this folder. How did you find out about Dynasty Central? What made you start a dynasty here?
For me, I bought a Playstation 2 two years ago after skipping out on the Playstation/N64 generation (due to college and being broke). Then I bought NCAA 2003 and kept track of all my stats in Excel on a laptop I have from work. I was surfing the web one day and visited Gamefaqs.com, where somebody mentioned this site. I checked it out and started to store some of my stats here.
When NCAA 2004 came out, I started a new dynasty with Idaho. I was keeping track of my stats on Dynasty Central and writing some silly stories mostly to amuse some friends who knew I was addicted to the game. I never looked at the forums for the longest time, then I decided to check it out and noticed that others were actually reading my site.
Now with NCAA 2005 I’m using more HTML and keeping track of ALL of my stats on this site (instead of my laptop).
So what’s your story?

I was also on gamefaqs.com when i heard about DC. I had NCAA 2003 and was already in a Michigan dynasty so the first season i just posted some very very bad game recaps then went on to the next season and actually did some writing, and that was still very very bad. then i quit after the second season because i thought no one was reading it anyway. (no one had rated it). then i got NCAA 2005 and i decided to give DC another try. so here i am

I also came from GameFAQs. I used to go to the MVP Baseball 2004 board there, and I saw an address in another posters' sig to a baseball dynasty here. I followed the link, looked around the site, and viola.

It was a warm September day and I was surfing gamefaqs.com and someone mentioned it. Two years later, I'm still around and going strong.

GameFAQs, people on the Madden boards and NCAA boards mentioned it. I think Acclaim99 (Eagles dynasty) is one of the people I first heard it from. His GameFAQs username is terramagra, if he's still there. Also some guy on GameFAQs called "The1AndOnly"

I, as well as everyone else, came from GameFAQs. Interestingly enough, I remember it was Xanderski that posted a link to his Idaho dynasty on a thread, and that's how I came to know Dynasty Central.

For me, it's a long story. For one, I knew about this site from the beginning, basically, but never joined. When I did join, the site got me hooked and voila.

I heard about it in the forums over at EASports.com. I was reading a dynasty story over there and was really enjoying it and somebody mentioned this site, when I first looked over i saw that an LSU dynasty was the "featured dynasty" and was hooked ever since.

^Thank You. I didn't want 2 sound stupid and ppl like "Wut r u talking about". haha. I also heard about this site while looking for Madden '03 photo's before the release. I saw the MaddenMania site and clicked it. Insider there I saw DynastyCentral, and based on my knowledge of NCAA '02, I clicked.
(there's the cheesy music that plays in inspiration)
