I couldn't think of a better place to put this, even though I'm not new. However, I'd just like to say hello again to DC. I see some new faces, I see some old faces, I love the quality of dynasties that are being pumped out, and I missed talking sports with you guys.
So, without further ado...here is a little brief what's happening with me.
I'm now a senior in high school...and I'm applying to Dartmouth College (Ivy League) in New Hampshire for school. If I get in, well, I guess we'll all be in the same country then.
I have a girlfriend of 3 months. She doesn't understand why I like writing about sports that aren't real. She'll understand someday.
I'm plotting a dynasty in the college basketball section with my beloved Dartmouth Big Green (beloved ever since I decided I wanted to go to school there), and they're a fun team to play with in that they play in such a terrible conference, but I have so many stories stewing in my head about playing basketball in the Ivy Leagues. It would also be a MUCH shorter season than my Jays ones...meaning who knows? I might get through a season or two with this one.
Anyways, it feels good to be back, and I'm looking forward to getting this dynasty off the ground...sometime soon. Because I unfortunately got stuck with playing 2k6...I'm finishing up the 05-06 season right now and I'll start with the 06-07 season with a modified schedule and stuff. At least this way, I'll have the dates kind of right, and I'll have a backstory to work with.
The player names won't be real, but let's be honest. Who can name a player on Dartmouth without looking it up? Thought so.
I guess that's that. See you all around!
