Allright everyone, Jay here. I will be doing a Notre Dame Fighting Irish legacy with College Hoops 2k8 on XBOX 360. I hope to build Notre Dame into a national power, and will follow the format I did with my previous hoops legacy, with Leak's format but tweaked just a tiny bit. I will be creating the Top 10 players from each incoming class each year, so look for them in this dynasty as well.
Everyone enjoy, this looks to be one hell of a ride.

[glow=red,2,300]Breaking News::[/glow] 12-16-2008: Head Coach of the Irish, Mike Brey, is reportedly being courted by various big-name programs for next season. Arizona coach Chris Lowery, the former SIU Salukis coach, reportedly will be fired at the end of the year, and Brey has been given permission by ND to talk to them.
4-1-2009: Coach Mike Brey declines offers from all schools, remaining at Notre Dame.
7-6-2011: Brey golfs with Billy Donovan. Could Donovan be ready to jump to the NBA and hand the reigns over to Brey??

2010-2011: Illinois, USC, Gonzaga, Oklahoma St.
[glow=red,2,300]Yearly Recaps:[/glow]
2007-2008: After a slow start, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish hit their stride under coach Mike Brey, and ultimately finished with a 16-14. After an early-season commitment by HS Senior Terrell Pryor, the Irish became too caught up in themselves, and hit a losing streak that they never totally recovered from. Leading the charge for the Irish was sophmore center Luke Harangody, who averaged 22 points and 7 rebounds a game for the Irish. The Georgetown Hoyas won the Big East, and Roy Hibbert not only won Conference Player of the Year, but also NCAA Player of the Year and NCAA Big Man of the Year. With Hibbert leaving Georgetown, it looks like the Irish are in good condition to make a run next season at the NCAA Tournament.
2008-2009: Under Coach Mike Brey, the Irish came off to an amazing start, winning 8 straight, but ultimately finished with a 25-10 record and knocked off UCONN in the second round of the Big East Tournament, but finished with a 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament after missing it the year before, ultimately losing in the second round to Jacksonville. Terrell Pryor won National and Conference Freshman of the Year, named to Freshman All-American Team, and to the Big East All-Conference Team. He averaged 16 points for the year, and was second on the team to Luke Harangody, who was named First Team All Big East, averaging 21 points per game. The second year was highlighted by another early-season commitment, #16 overall recruit Clinton Trammel from Memphis, Tennesee. His teammate, Jarrid Cantrell, also committed the day after Trammel. They combined for 36 points a game their senior year, so with this tandem joining more Irish, 2009 looks like the year of the Irish.
2009-2010: This year was a down year for Brey and the Irish, finishing 17-13. Luke Harangody, the amazing center, only play 19 of the games, breaking his wrist but returned for the final 19, but it was good enough to name him to the All-American Second Team. Terrell Pryor continued to impress, with 18 points a game. Freshman Clinton Trammell contributed in the starting rotation, scoring 9 points a game. With an early season commit, the Irish look to improve on the horrendous year they experienced.
2010-2011: This was the year Coach Mike Brey really hit his high point. After making the NCAA tournament as a nine seed, Brey upset Louisville and Alabama, then destroyed Villanova and ultimately lost to USC. Brey got many early season commits from 5 star recruits, and looks to improve with the Irish. While many speculate that this may be the last year Brey will coach the Irish, he remains tight lipped. Many thought he would leave after his star player, Terrelle Pryor, a first team All-America, entered the draft, which he (Pryor) did. But Brey remains at the helm of the Irish, looking for one more run.

UPDATE!
Update #1: 11-27-2007:
I just finished my first season, posted above. Decent start, at best. But I landed Pryor, baby! This should be interesting, considering I've never seen him play and got a CAP of him, he looks like a decent player. I wish I could have landed BJ Mullens, though, or Jrue Holiday, because that would be just scary

Did you make Xavier Henry from Oklahoma as one of your recruits. I have seen him listed as the #2 prospect in the country for the '09 class. I'm going to go watch him in r/l when we play them and I was wondering if you created him and how he was doing.

Well guys, this has come to a close. I opened my save file yesterday and for some reason Mike Brey is the Oregon St. head coach. So unless you all would like to see an Oregon St. team on here now, then post that you would.
