Game: NCAA 2008 System: PS3 Sliders: My Own Rosters: Generated Names. The reason? Because I am playing this as if Marcus was in high school as a senior in the year 2003. Why? Because once he graduates I want to move this onto Madden... hopefully by that time the patch will be out for the PS3 lol. So yes, default rosters with generated names. This was inspired from the writing of Loki. His Shannon Kennedy dynasty contains some of the best writing I've ever seen on the boards. Hopefully this story can contain the same amount of unique twists that will keep you guys reading until the end. Enjoy! Disclaimer: This is an entirely fictional story and although real life players will be mentioned they are not meant to be viewed as the real life counterpart. This is for entertainment purposes only and is not meant to offend anybody.

Sweet! I feel honored to have inspired this and look forward to this as well as Backstop and Clayton's. I can definitely see you sticking with this one for awhile. These are much easier than normal dynasties.

It is... updates are much easier, it's easier to play the games... and you can use more creativity.

November 22nd, 2002His eyes… they show fear. The safety is creeping towards the line. He’s going to blitz. It’s one on one, the corner and me. He’s afraid. I can sense it. I would be too. I’m about to make him look silly. Governor Mifflin is going to the AA State Championship after this play. The clock showed 1:24 remaining in the fourth quarter. The score; Governor Mifflin 24, Wilson 27. Wilson has been our rival forever. Back when my dad played ball here the rivalry was just as it is now. And it all came down to this play. It was fourth down and 6 to go. I glanced over to our quarterback Sammy. One second later the ball was in his hands and I flew off the line. I faked the outside fly route and dug my cleats into the grassy turf. I cut inside with the corner a good two steps behind me. Sammy rifled it at me. I snagged it a tucked it bene… CRACK! The safety put the biggest hit on me that I have ever seen. The ball jarred free and rolled to the ground. I could have swore he was going to blitz… And that was it. We lost, thanks to me, Marcus Jordan. I stayed down… I didn’t want to get up. I am the reason that we aren’t going to the state championship game. It’s my fault. Everything was brief in the locker room. I took a fast shower got changed and went home right away. I didn’t say a word to anybody. Not my coaches or teammates. I got home and fell onto my bed. I just want to sleep. Maybe I’ll get lucky and I’ll never wake up.

November 23nd, 2002Why did I wake up? Please someone tell me why. Well at least there is no school today. I rolled over and picked up my cell phone. I had a text from Kelly. We had been dating for almost a year now. It's getting pretty serious now as we are looking into colleges. I pulled myself out of bed and made my way downstairs. My dad was sitting at the table. I didn't really want to discuss the game but I knew he would have something to say. Surprisingly... he didn't say much at all. "How are you feeling" "Ok I guess," I said back. "Yeah, well there's a letter there for you." He pointed across the table to the pile of mail. I walked over and grabbed the letter, walked into the living room, sat on the coach and turned on the tv. Sportscenter was on. I didn't really want to think about sports. I clicked the tv back off and opened up the letter. It was from the University of Penn. "Dear Mr. Jordan, We have been attending your football games at Governor Mifflin high school and after much discussion have decided to offer you a scholarship to come and play at Penn University. We believe you have a good attitude as a leader and will excel in our program here. Please contact us with your response." Wow, a team wants me to play for them. They must have sent that before the game last night. I walked back into the kitchen to tell my dad. He didn't seem excited at all. I wouldn't really expect him to be. He played quarterback for Florida back in college. He probably thinks I'm pathetic since I can only get an offer from Penn. I just tossed the letter back on the table and head upstairs to shower. I was going out with Kelly that night. At least there was something to look forward to.

November 30th, 2002This week has come with many surprises. Mostly positive. First off the date with Kelly went quite well. It allowed me to let go of the fact that I blew the game the night before. We went out to see a movie, then dinner, and just some time together back at her place. I couldn't ask for anything more. I don't know what I would do without her. The next night I got more letters from different schools. It caught me off guard. I didn't think anybody was that interested. I received offers from Northern Illinois, Duke, and Minnesota. Minnesota is a Big Ten team. It is a pretty awesome thought that I could be playing on television. I'm still not going to commit to anyone. I want to wait a little longer and see if I get any more surprises. Plus me and Kelly still have to discuss it. She's all smart and stuff and wants to stay in state and go to Penn State. I would love to go to Penn State, they have been my favorite team since I was little. Unfortunately, I would be shocked if a team of their caliber would want me. Anyway, it's late and I gotta get up early for church tomorrow. Later.

This idea seems weird to me, with the random rosters. I'll be making a campus legend with my ps3 soon.
It'll be something no one has seen before.

I am going to Penn State and she is still a senior... deciding where to go. And if she doesn't get into PSU she wants to go out of state... kinda a gay situation... but yeah, glad to know you are reading.

I'll say it now. Going to the same school as your girlfriend from high school is probably one of the worst decisions you can make. Just a forewarning for you. Write some more dammit!

December 5th, 2002*Ring* ............. *Ring*........... "Yeah... hello?" "Hello Marcus, my name is Jim Leavitt. If you don't know who I am, I coach a team down in Florida. The South Florida Bulls." "Yeah, I've heard about you guys." South Florida is a new program. They have only been around for about two years. Last year they went 7-2. Pretty kick ass for such a new team. "Well Marcus, we have been sending scouts to the last couple of your games up there. I must say, from what we've seen we are really impressed. How would you feel about playing football down here in Florida." "That sounds great coach but I do need a bit of time to think about it." "That's completely understandable. I know this is a heck of a decision for you. I really think you would enjoy it down here. And I know the school would enjoy having a receiver with your ability playing down here as well." "I'll definitely be getting back to you on this." "Alright, it was good talking to you Marcus." "Bye" Wow... South Florida. That's pretty cool. I wonder what Kelly will say. We got in a fight the other night. We were at my friend Todd's party and she said I was hittin on some chick. Bull. Whatever, I'm sure everything will be ok. Especially when she hears this news. Ok, I've gotta get going. I woke up late.

December 5th, 2002"What!!!" "Hunny, it's a really good opportunity for me. To play at a big school like that." "What is wrong with Penn? Why can't you just go there." "I wouldn't go anywhere if I went to Penn. I couldn't make anything of myself." "What the hell Marcus. You aren't going to go pro anyway. You need to go somewhere that you can get a good education like Penn. Not South Florida" "I can get a good education there too..." "Agh! Why are you so damn selfish all the time." *Click* ... Well that didn't go like I hoped. Maybe she is right. I'm too selfish. Penn isn't that bad of a school...

Do NOT go to Penn, Marcus! Go to South Florida, and make it rain. Kelly will get over it, eventually.

Penn Student
Go to Penn; it's an amazing education (you'll be a shoe-in to any job you want, really) and it's in the great city of Philadelphia. Can't get better than that. Plus, you can definitely be the guy to lead the Quakers to Ivy League glory, maybe even a I-AA national title. You can still go to the pros as well if you're good. Probably as good a chance than some pathetically small school in Tampa... if you're as good as I think you are. Hell, Jerry Rice went to a 1-AA school, and he didn't turn out so bad.

December 7th, 2002I'm lost. I really have no idea what to do. Kelly is my girl. She has been there for me through everything. I can't just forget about her and go down to Florida. I have to call her... I have to tell her I'm sorry. I will go to Penn with her...*Ring.....* *Ring.....* *Ring.....* "Hello?" ... It was a guys voice. "Who in the hell is this?" "Watch your tone motha f****. Who the f*** are you?" "This is Kelly's boyfriend, what the hell are you doing with her phone." ... It was quiet for a moment. "Heheh... nah man. I don't think you get it. She don't want you no more. She wants a man. Not a boy that can't make decisions." "Man f*** you. You don't know what you're talkin about." "Oh no I really do. I can tell just by the way she was screamin my name." "Put her on the phone." "She's in the shower. So was I until you interrupted." *SHWOOOOSH* Marcus launched the phone across the room and watched in crash into the wall. It scattered across the room in pieces. His head sank downwards. He fought back tears. ... "I need a phone. I need to call coach Leavitt."

December 13th, 2002I can't wait to get out of here. It drives me nuts just having to walk by Kelly in the halls at school. I mean, I thought she really cared about me. And to go do something like that... I guess there are better ways to go about it though. I've done nothing but sit at home and watch movies for the past week. I should probably go out and do some stuff. Have a good time and all. Also, some big news on the recruiting front. I gave my verbal commit to South Florida. I didn't think much of it. I did it right after the conversation with whoever that guy was. Coach Leavitt said he was thrilled to know that I wanted to go there. ... Maybe that won't be my final decision though. Last night I got a phone call from Karl Dorrell. He just took the head coaching job from Bob Toledo at UCLA. I have always been a big fan of UCLA and they are a bigger and more established program than the Bulls. If I'm really focused on making it to the pros they might be the better pick. I told Dorrell that I had given a verbal commit to South Florida but I was still keeping my options open. I am visiting South Florida early January. Then in late January I'm going out to UCLA to check it out. I'm excited. Either way I'm getting out of here and away from these people. That's all I really want right now. That's all that's new folks. Hit ya up later.
